So! A little more shoutouts/thank yous before I get into Candace's point of view in this chapter.

For @VickiFran, hehe, you commented about the whole 3rd trimester plane thingy, and even though I already had the plot set up around it and everything, (you all will see what I mean in the next chapter after this one) it still meant alot to me that you felt the need to tell me in order to make the story better. Thank you, honestly. I absolutely love feedback. :)

And I wanted to especially thank @KashonaShaniece, who in my opinion is one of the many of the best Wattpad writers of all time, for reading and commenting on this story. I read her story "For All Time" a little while back and was HOOKED to it. I was amazed at how great of a writer she is. When I received her comment a couple of days ago, I could've sworn my eyes touched the screen, I was so shocked. It meant alot seeing someone as yourself reading and commenting on my work. It really makes me feel special. Honestly, you have no idea how much I love your stories, you are AMAZING! I sort of see you as "Wattpad celebrity status", lmfao don't judge me.

Anyways, I'll get to the story, sorry to waste time, it's just that I want to start thanking people who really make a difference in my stories. But please, enjoy this chapter, and the next! Uploading 2 chapters today ;)

*Candace's POV*

Ever since I've entered my 3rd trimester, I haven't been able to sleep for a long period of time, so it didn't bother me that I woke up around 5 am. I was actually glad because Michael was scheduled to leave in about 3 hours, meaning he would wake up in about an hour or two. I decided to admire my husband's beauty as he slept. I'm actually glad I did that as well instead of getting up and going elsewhere because what happened while I watched him frightened me.

As I gently played in his smooth, shiny curly, black hair, I noticed his gentle breath as he slept peacefully. I smiled to myself and softly flicked his cute little nose and laughed silently to myself. "You're so cute." I whispered. "I absolutely adore you." I smiled and caressed his cheek and watched him sleep in peace. His breathing now had a rhythm to it, sounding more like a long inhale; long exhale; long inhale; exhale-with-a-sigh; long inhale; then two short choppy exhales; then repeat. I found it kind of cute. But then, his breathing changed. At first, he seemed as if he were sleeping peacefully; dreaming heavenly. Now, his breathing quickened to a sharp pace, seeming as if he couldn't breathe. He broke out a sweat and began hyperventilating, seeming as if he couldn't breathe. He began to choke almost and woke himself up out of sleep.

"Babe? What's the matter?" I questioned, worried about him.

He sat up breathing heavily. "Bad dream. Don't worry about it." he explained as he began to rub his temples, relaxing himself.

"No, tell me, Michael." I said as I sat up and rubbed his arm in order to soothe him.

He only shook his head, "No CJ, just please leave it alone." he said sadly.

"My love, baby I can't--"

"Damnit girl! I said leave it alone!" he scolded, then rushed to the bathroom to take a long bath. I tried waiting on his return, but it was clear that he took a bath in order to get away from me for a while. I sighed and struggled getting out of the bed, then wobbled downstairs into the kitchen to prepare a small breakfast to take my mind off of things.

Not one word nor glance was shared between us until the very moment he was about to walk out of the door for Italy, luggage in hand.

I stood against the wall and folded my arms above my belly and looked down, not wanting to see him walk out the door without me. I knew he had to, but it killed me inside. I felt like something terrible would happen while he was away from me, simply because I was due in 9 days. All I could do was hold back my tears and watch the ground as best as my stomach allowed me, and listened to him easing out of the door.
