*Michael’s POV*

I greeted everyone as they came in. I had to finish preparing everything, so I left them all in the living room to talk. Once I got in the kitchen, I continued to chop foods, gather meats, and prepare dishes. My mother came in and saw me cooking. She smiled.

“Michael, you’re the one who’s cooking all of this?”

“Yes ma’am.” I said still focused

“Baby, stop.” She said grabbing my hands. “Go with Candace for a while, I can do this.”

She is so sweet, but I couldn’t let her do this. “Mother, no. she’s upstairs sleeping, and besides, you’re my guest! I don’t want you to cook. I want to serve you.”

She smiled. “Oh Michael, you always were the sweetest.” She came and hugged me. “And is CJ okay?”

I nodded my head. “She’s fine. Just a bit of a long day, that’s all.”

“Well, go check on her, see if she’s alright. She might be hungry, or just need some company.”

I scoffed under my breath. “Yeah, you have no idea.”

“What do you mean, sweetheart?”

I laughed a bit. “It’s just that she’s been changing a lot lately.”

She looked at me suspiciously. I hope I didn’t say too much. “Go check on her, sweetie. I’ll handle the food. It’s what I do best. Besides making talented babies!” she started to laugh.

I laughed too. “Okay, but I’m taking this meat out to the guys to see if they can start it up for me.”

She nodded her head. “Be careful!”

I turned around and gave her a smile. “Always am, Mother.” I grabbed the 3 trays of meat and carefully took them to the backyard. “Jermaine! Jackie! Tito!” I yelled.

“Yeah?”

“Yo!”

“What’s up, Mike?” they all asked at random times.

“Can you guys start up the grill while I go check on CJ?”

“Sure.” Jackie said.

Tito spoke soon afterwards. “No problem.”

I smiled. “Thanks.” I handed each of them a tray of raw meat. “Tito, chicken. Jermaine, hot dogs and hamburgers. And Jackie, ribs.”

He grunted as I placed the heavy tray of ribs in his arms. “Damn Mike! All this meat!  We can feed a heard of animals!”

I laughed. “You have no idea. But I really gotta go. See ya!” I said running off.

I got up to our room and saw Candace singing to her stomach. I slowly walked in.

She looked up at me and smiled while she was still singing.

I laid on the bed and began to rub her bare stomach while she sang to our children.

She finished her song and kissed me. “I love you, Mickey.”

I put my forehead against hers. “I love you more, CJ.”

She giggled and pulled away. “So, what’s up?”

“I need you to shower and come downstairs to join the family.”

“They’re already here!?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Mickey! What time is it?” she asked worriedly.
