POV. Erica
I breathed in deep as I opened my eyes. I looked out the massive window on my wall, from my hospital bed.
I smiled to see large feet of snow on the ground and the sun starting to rise. I thought about all my problems and all the things I may go through today, yet I decided to stay positive and try to make today a good day. At least I was actually awake.
About ten minutes later I heard a knock on my door. I turned my head to see who was at the door. Yet only to see my cousin Jake. He came in with tears rolling down his cheeks slowly. He came in, looked at me and smiled. He sat down in the chair next to my bed.
"Hey" he said. "Hey, what's wrong." I merely mumbled out. "Nothin just you know, just struggling to see you like this." He laughed. I smiled and he leaned over to hug me.
As he sat back down I mumbled, "Hey no one will tell me about Amber, where is she I need to see her." He looked at me and tears came faster. He looked at me and said, "Don't worry, everything is ok."
Before I could even say anything else he shut the door as he was going out.
I started to feel as if I was going to throw up. My stomach was turning as I was sinking into my bed. I started to look around for a trash can. Though I couldn't get up cause the pain, and I could barley talk, I wondered why, ever since I woke up from the comma, I wondered a lot of things since then, and no one ever told me.
I started freaking out. I couldn't get off the bed or scream. My heart monitor started beeping like crazy and I started pushing all the buttons by my bed urgently to page the nurses.
The nurses rushed in and so did the doctor. The doctor slowed my heart monitor. The nurse asked what I needed. "I'm going to throw up!" I whispered as loud as possible. She rushed and grabbed me a trash can. I started throwing up it felt like it would never stop.
After I knew I was done, the doctor left and the nurse gave me muscle relaxers. Soon after, they left and didn't allow family in. Nothing hurt anymore, but I was drifting back to sleep. I already had so much sleep. I fought to stay awake, but I lost that battle.
