***Audrey’s POV***

“This is Mi6. You are under arrest.”

Crap.

They men closed in until their shoulders touched and they formed a wall around us. Over them, I could see officials herding the other tourists out of the gate. I noticed a few people trying to snap pictures of us with their phones, but the officials placed their hands in front of the lenses, or at least tried to. When the herd of tourists was gone, silence fell over our group.

Darcy had frozen and the men seemed to be too.

I took a deep breath and stepped forward, clearing my throat. Immediately, every gun barrel was pointed at me.

I walked towards one of the agents, swaying my hips and batting my eyes.

His Sig Sauer dropped a little bit as I came to stand before him and twirled my hair.

“Hey,” I whispered seductively.

He just nodded ever so slightly.

“What’s your name?” I was still whispering.

He stayed still.

“Oh come on. A little innocent girl like me can't know your name?”

Slight movement. I silently cheered. His mouth had opened slightly.

I put my hand on his arm and squeezed it.

“Wow,” I complimented him. “You sure are strong.”

The man finally reacted and smiled, still a bit nervous.

As I trailed my fingers down his arm and towards his hand, his smile grew bigger until he finally grabbed my hand and brought it to his face.

“My name is Carlos,” he answered my question.

I detected the slightest Spanish accent in his tone.

“Where are you from?” I asked him, getting closer to him.

“Spain, Barcelona,” he smiled.

“Barcelona? I hear that guys from Barcelona are really cute,” I purred.

He grinned and brought my hand up to his mouth to place a kiss on it. I blushed for real, because I had actually managed to break him.

I leaned a bit closer to him, aware of every eye looking at me and Carlos. His hands wrapped around my waist as he pulled me closer. I felt the gun still in his hand and made a face.

“What is it, babe?” he asked.

“That awful gun of yours. Can’t you put it away?”

He grinned sheepishly, as if he had forgotten about it.

“Sorry.”

He placed it in a holster under his jacket and I noticed a second one, plus a bag which no doubt contained more ammunition.

“What did you need it for anyway?”

“Well, to make sure the bad guys don’t hurt you.”

“And who are the bad guys?”

“Anyone who points a gun at you is a bad guy in my eyes.”

I let my eyes slide over every other agent and Carlos followed my gaze.

“So, why aren’t you using it to make sure they won’t hurt me?”

He frowned. “I can’t kill them. You see, they’re my team.”
