sometimes I wonder
what it's like to die
the earth to swallow you whole
then I ponder
if to think these thoughts
is truly, utterly wrong
i know it is
i know it's not right
to simply want to die
to be at peace
no pain or loss
only darkness before the eye
but is it truly wrong
if millions feel the same
only wanting to be at rest
they say it's selfish to leave
but is it not selfish to trap
the people that walk among us
who are already dead?
