Chapter 13 - NO!

i came back to the cellar and April was crouched on the floor and Rebekah shooting up.

"easy there Beck. here have these" i handed her the blood bags.

"Bethany? when did you get back?" she breathed

"not long i have so much to tell you" i breathed

"what's going on?" April asked i looked back at her. then back at Rebekah

"i think we should take this somewhere else don't you" she nodded and the three of us left. All going to Rebekah's place. i poured out drinks and handed them to Beck and April.

"okay here's the deal we tell you what we are and don't kill you, in exchange for you not telling a soul" Beck started

"she means it " i added

"yeah of course" i grinned but then got a text message from Nik

Carol Lockwood it dead

I screamed in frustration and threw my phone across the floor then covered my face

"Beth what is it"

"you idiot of a brother" i revealed my now tearful face "he killed Carol Lockwood. And it's all my fault"

"I'm sure that's not true "

"It is though. Tyler and his hybrids were going to overthrow him, so being the dutiful hybrid niece told him and threaten Tyler that his mum would get hurt. I told Nik the best way to get to Tyler was his family. i thought he might hold her hostage or throw her down the steps anything but kill her. She didn't deserved to be killed." i then stormed over to my phone and grabbed the broken pieces.

"i am going to kill your brother. You can fill her in and whatever I'm going to have a chat with Uncle Nik" with that i ran off. Going into the mansion i slammed the door.

"Niklaus Mikaelson!" i screamed he appeared in front of me

"now love there is no need to scream" i pushed him to the wall.

"you know, you've done a lot of low things but killing Carol the one who is like a second mum to me that is low. Now to show who's in charge i would have been somewhat okay with. You roughing her up a bit. Keeping authority at all, at least she'll still be alive. But killing her why?"

"Because Tyler needed to be taught a lesson." he wheezed

"she has friends that loved her, a son that loved her as well. I really don't know how to react because you are my family it may be diluted but still, yet I've know her all my life. " i backed away and started crying.

"i don't know what to do anymore Nik which side do i choose" he came over but i backed away.

"no, no! stay away from me" i ran out of the mansion and to the falls taking my phone i switched it on and called one of the only people that could stop me from switching my emotions of again.

"Bethany?" i could hear his voice i must have woken him up.

"Elijah" i breathe "Elijah he killed her, he killed Carol and its all my fault"

"okay calm down tell me what happened" he ordered so i did everything.

"'Lijah tell me what to do"

"stay with Rebekah or Kol for a while let things settle, I'll come as soon as i can. Sophie has a bit of a cold so it will be a few days"

"okay. Thank you." i breathed "i love you and Sophia so much."

"I love you too more than you know. And i know she loves you, I'll see you soon okay."

"okay" we both hung up.

i scrolled through my contact list to Kol then pressed dial. I heard it ringing then him answer

"Beth to what do i owe the pleasure of your call."

"Can i stay with you for a few days....please"

"sure what happened you sound upset."

"I'll tell you when i get there I'll see you later" hanging up i set a text to Rebekah

they will be holding a memorial for Mayor Lockwood in a few days. my sister, Elena and Stefan will catch you up. I'm staying with Kol for a few days I'm sorry
