"long or short" Jer asked

"short its been a long drive." i replied

"there was a vampire hunter in town and not a normal one he was a part of this ancient cult. he's been trying to kill all the vampires." Jer started

"But Elena killed him" Matt finished i nodded

"right okay"

"Pastor Young Aprils dad set his farm on fire with most of the council inside. the hunter who is called Connor had been trapped with Klaus and apparently i talked to him. this morning he held me, Matt and April inside hoping to kill Damon, Tyler and Stefan. he killed one of Klaus' hybrids and almost killed me when Elena tried to coming in and save me but i was brought back by the ring. everyone thinks the street was cleared because of a gas leak." Jer explained

"wow i have missed a lot." i stopped at my car

"any of you want a lift home?" i asked

"no its alright. it was nice seeing you again" Matt kissed my head and left

"sure" Jer got in the passenger seat. and i pulled out setting off for the Gilbert house.

"nice car you've got."

"thanks this is my school and travelling without Soph car." i replied stopping.

"how is Sophia?" he questioned i grinned

"she's the best so full of innocence and cuteness although she doesn't know it she misses you. i have this mobile and has pictures of us dangling down from it. she loves yours" i told him

"well she is a Daddy's girl" he cleared his throat and i laughed as i pulled up outside his house.

"Jeremy you remember when i signed up of the pageant."

"yeah"

"well you said you would escort me. i know at the time you were my boyfriend but is that still the case" i wondered he smile d

"yes i will still escort you" i grinned and hugged him

"see you later Jer" he got out and went into his house. i then pulled away going to mine when i reached i parked up and pulled my suitcases out and opened the door.

"hello? Mom? Caroline?" i closed the door and looked around there was no one here so i went to my old room. it was still the same of sorts. i dumped my stuff and went downstairs to see what was in. finding some stuff i began to cook. the door opened and i heard Mom un holster her gun. i smirked and continued.

"really Mum hold a gun to your own daughter" i drank a glass of wine smiling at her.

"Bethany" i smiled

"you're back....Caroline?" she guessed

"yep back for the pageant" the timer went off.

"dinner's nearly done" the door opened again

"Beth you're back" she sped to my side and hugged me.

"nice to see you too Care. kinda busy" i had made bolognaise and dished it up. we all sat down

"so your back for the pageant" she asked

"yep." i answered

"then are you leaving again" i sighed sitting up properly.

"i don't know Mom. i can protect myself not only that i can't die truly immortal with the exception of the stake thingy. But that leaves Sophia right now she's safe and loved. if i was to return i would need some guarantee that she would grow up like a trapped, protected princess. but for now i would say yes i will be leaving again."
