Caleb's pov:
After base ball i saw the fountain that me and merrisa always visited.

I sighed "why did you have to leave me." i whispered taking off my baseball hat.

Walking home was the highlight of my day. I spent all morning crying. I bumped into destiny.

"Oh hey caleb." she said wiping her tears.
"Are you okay?" i asked

"Merrisa-."
"I know" i cut her off before saying anything else.

"I was going to apologize but i guess i was to late." she said sobbing. I pulled her in for a hug and she hugged back.

"Want to come to her funeral, its on friday." i asked
"Of course." she said shaking.

As we parted i continued walking home. Every bit of the street reminds me of her.
"Fuck my life." i said throwing a stone into a pond.

I pulled out my phone. My screen lock was a picture of me and merrisa, she looked so happy. What in the world could have caused her to want to lose her life.

Once i got home. I saw annie
She still did not know.

"Annie i need to talk to you." i yelled from upstairs. I heard footsteps getting closer untill she barged in my room.

"Yea caleb?" she asked plopping on my bed.

"Well...merrisa passed away
Yesterday." i said.

"Is this a joke?" she replied
"No annie why would i joke about this." i said trying to remain calm. She started crying and i pulled her in for a hug.

"How did she die?" she asked wiping her tears."

"Umm... She just stopped breathing." i lied.

Sydney walked in hugging annie. "Do you guys want to attend her funeral.

"Whose?" sydney asked
"Merrisa's she is a friend of mine." i replied

"Sure." they both said in unison "its on friday." i replied
