Dear, Jeremy

Chapter 8

As soon as I was about to have a word with Jeremy the bell went off indicating the start of next lecture.

I promised Jeremy to meet him later and rushed to my class quickly.

After my classes ended I quickly went in search of Jeremy.

I found him sitting on a bench at the ground.

I went there and flashed him my toothy smile.

"Hey" Jeremy said coolly.

"Hi, What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just." He said with a bit of hesitation but I let it go.

"Umm..actually I wanted you to do me a favour you know?

I mean it's okay if you say no but you know...

"Spit it out already" He cut me off.

"Uhh..yeah. So the thing is my umm.. ex boyfriend is throwing a party and he wants me to come" I say.

"So? You don't want to go?" He asked.

"With a date." I quickly added.
"I mean he thinks I started dating someone and asked me. So I didn't correct him and agreed with it." I continued.

"Ohh... So.. " He exclaimed confused.

"Will you be my date for a day?" The words left my mouth before I realise.

He was shocked. I could see that.

I quickly added..

"It's okay if you don't. He just wanted to mock at me. But it's fine."

"Okay. I'll be your date. I don't mind." He flashed a genuine smile.

"Are you serious? I..I..I Arghh I mean Thank you. Like really thanks." I unknowingly hug him and catch him offguard.

The touch send current through my body.  I could feel his body stiffen under my touch.

I move away quickly.

"Ohh sorry" I could feel my cheeks heat up.

" Th..That's fine" He said.

I then got up after quickly typing the address of Manik's (my ex) house on his phone.

But he said he would love to pick me up.

Me being me said we'll see that later. Arggghhhh!!!! I really need to work on my conversational skills.

I am damn excited though!
