The morning after the gala, Killian woke me up by throwing a pillow at my face.

"Come on, Princess! Training starts today," he said, jumping onto the bed next to me, kissing my cheek.

"Go away, Killian, I need more sleep," I groaned, rolling over and hiding my head in his shirt.

He wrapped his arms around me and played with hair.

"If you don't get out of bed now, you're going to have to go to the training centre in your pyjamas." he told me.

"Fine," I mumbled, keeping my eye shut.

Killian was silent for a few second before he started poking my side, making me laugh.

"Are you ticklish?" he asked.

"No," I lied, shaking my head.

"I think you are," he said, poking my side again.

"If you stop, I'll get dressed," I offered in between laughs.

"Deal," he said, forcing me to sit up.

I finally opened my eyes to see Killian with his hair sticking out in every direction. I giggled and padded over to the closet to find something to wear.

I pulled out a pair of black leggings, a black sleeveless shirt that ended just above my bellybutton, and a pair of black boots. I ran to the bathroom and quickly got dressed and brushed my hair out.

"Killian, can you please do my hair," I asked as I walked into the kitchen.

"Sure thing. Sit down and eat your breakfast," he said, pointing to a plate full of food.

I began eating as Killian started braiding my hair and pinning it into place. It didn't take long for him to finish my hair and for me to finish my food.

"Come on, Princess, we need to go," Killian called as I finished brushing my teeth.

"I'm coming," I said, pushing stray strands of hair out of my face as I double checked my reflection.

I met Killian at the front door.

"Took you long enough," he laughed, handing my a small box.

I opened it to find a medium sized blaster.

"Thank you," I said, standing on my toes and attempting to kiss his cheek.

I followed Killian out to the cruiser, trying to figure out what to call my relationship with him. I didn't fully understand what a relationship meant, let alone if Killian and I were in one.

"What's on your mind?" he asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"I'm troubled," I told him.

"About what?" he asked.

"About us. I mean, we kissed last night," I said, a blush spreading across my cheeks.

"You've never had a boyfriend before," he stated like it was the most obvious thing in the universe.

"No."

"Well, congratulations, Princess, I'd be honoured to be your first," he said, flashing me a smile that made my heart skip a beat.

"Boyfriend," I repeated. The word felt strange to say.

"Have you ever had a girlfriend?" I asked curiously.

"A few, but that was a few years ago," he said.

"Oh. What's it like? I mean, to be in a relationship?" I asked.
