*Janessa's POV*

It was Thursday night and we had a football game. I am not a big fan, but I loved our half time performances. I saw Jayce across from where I was sitting. He is so mesmerizing and gorgeous. It was just unbelievable. I really wanted to talk to him and have at least a decent conversation.

Suddenly out of no where my friend, Jacob, interrupted my daydream.

I was surprised that he talked to me. We dated for 3 months during the summer but it didn't work out. He liked someone else and I honestly didn't see him in my future. He never paid attention to me and always ignored me. But I found out soon enough that he had cheated on me. So we just decided to stay as friends. He suddenly asks me a question. "Hey Jess, I have a question to ask you.." He says making me wonder. "Would you like to go out on a date?" He asks.

I am in shock..

*Jacob's POV*

I still love Janessa. She was beautiful and smart. I never thought I was good enough for her. She had many guys like her, and even though she didn't pay attention to any of them, I decided to cheat on her, with one of my church friends.

I know there's no good enough excuse for my cheating, but I wanted to feel better about myself. Unfortunately, I lost her and now I regret it.

I thought she would never find out until every single time I was around her I felt so guilty. Eventually I had to tell her. I will never forget that feeling. It was the worst pain I have ever felt.

I rememeber we had practice after school and I asked if we could talk after practice was over. When we came out of practice I led her towards the patio. She was so beautiful. Her eyes had a spark. A spark that would soon be gone. I can't believe I was going to break her heart.

"Hey, what's going on? Are you feeling okay?" She says, with concern in her eyes. "I have something to tell you. You might never forgive me, b-but I hope you can forgive me.. I slept with someone!" I blurted out! She didn't say anything. Her silence was killing me. I wanted to hug her and apologize but I knew it was wrong. "It's okay Jacob. I understand. It's better for us to end things this way. We can always be friends. I have to go now.. bye J."

~Back to the Present~

She stood there, surprised. Hopefully she says 'yes'. "Sorry, but no. I can't do this right now J. You cheated on me for a reason and I don't want to go through that again. Goodbye, J." She say's. My heart broke. I knew it was wrong of me to do so, but I can't get over her.

*Jayce's POV*

I was having so much fun. My first football game, playing with the band, and soon to march on that beautiful green field. I was so excited. Thank God to my band director that I was able to get a spot.

I turned around looking for my section leader when suddenly I see Janessa. The stadium lights made her hair look so silky and shiny. Her uniform fit her so tight to her body, it defined her body very well.

My section leader came up to me distracting me from my day dream. How embarrassing.

I turn back around and I see Janessa with this guy. She looked very uncomfortable and annoyed. The guy she was talking to was definitely crushing on her. His smile was big and friendly. I honestly got kind of Jealous. She was beautiful and she could have any guy.
