Things that suck about ND:

1. It's fucking cold

2. Lucky didn't know where anything was

Jackson sat in the front seat taking what she called a 'well deserved nap'. While East drove silently. Now, East was a guy who appreciated silence so he kept the radio off, so Lucky was left sitting awkwardly in the back. As usual.

"Hey East," Silence. "Where exactly are we headed." Lucky shrank back into his seat when East shot him a glare through the mirror. He had known it had been a tough night, but Lucky was still up for conversation. It was the only thing keeping him from dying of boredom.

The car slowed to a stop at the next red light, but before Lucky could launch another word at him, he whipped his cell phone out of his pocket, blocking him out immediately. "Dude, come on! I've been good all day! I didn't annoy you once." And...he was still being ignored. Big surprise. Lucky groaned, leaning forward, pressing his elbows into the back of the seats.

"You could at least aknowlege me. " East sent him a look, holding his phone back for Lucky to see as he drove the car past the now green light.

They were waiting outside of the car you idiot. They must have some kind of audio recorder on us. So do me a favor and shut the fuck up.

The car turned down an empty road as East pulled his arm back over the seat, throwing his phone down onto his lap. "We're almost home kid." Lucky nodded, suddenly feeling very panicky. He had said East's name out loud and there was a chance that they were being recorded. Well, technically it wasn't his real name, a nickname really, but still.

East seemed to pick up on his change of mood. He slowed the car and nodded at Lucky semi-reassuringly through the mirror as the car turned slowly down some random dirt road.

An old cabin in the middle of the woods. A murderer's heaven was where they'd be staying the night. This all dawned on Lucky when East steered the car past the house and around some trees before coming to a stop near a dark colored tarp and a pile if leaves and twigs.

"Get out." Lucky wasn't really sure that the whole not assassin spies sent on a mission to find someone you want hidden act was much help considering that they had collectively taken down three men who were waiting for them in front of the car. But he did not protest.

Instead, he got out and helped East and a recently awoken Jackson cover their beat up rental in the materials present. It took about 20 minutes and by the time they were finished, Lucky was chilled to the bone and was nearly convinced that he had frostbite and needed to get his fingers amputated.

To say he was glad to get inside was an understatement, but when he pushed himself through the creaky door, he began to consider staying on the car.

The floors were carpeted with a thick layer of dust and three mattresses were placed neatly on the floors with freshly placed blankets and pillows on top. Oh and let's not forget the best part. There was no AC, or any electricity; and it was cold as balls.

"Tonight, we come up with identities and a plan. Tomorrow at dawn, we leave. Understood?" Jackson shoved her hands into her pockets to keep warm as she spoke, her tired eyes flicking to the beds every few minutes. "I had a buddy of mine come fix this up, so in the morning, we take these down to the basement and burn em. Can't leave evidence."

Despite the exhausted protests of Lucky's body, he nodded and sat down on the mattress. "Where do we start?" Jackson nodded at him and took out her laptop again. "I've been looking at your father's records and he seems to be making stops at small places like libraries and souvenir shops. I don't have any good ideas on why yet. But I think it's where we should start. Tomorrow when we get there, we start. Split up at three different locations in different parts of town that he's been to. Ask around, but don't make it look like you're looking for information. Act like we're asking if they've met a friend that recommended you come to the place. I don't know. Something."

East seemed satisfied with the information given to him and Lucky just wanted to sleep. "Identites?" East nodded. "Identites got fake ID'S. I guess we could go over it in the morning on the way. But God, I need sleep. "

Lucky barely uttered a word before he found himself snuggled up in the warm blankets.

He dozed off within minutes only to be woken up by his phone.

This is really crappy, but it's a filler so it could be worse. I'll update again when I can. I've been WAY busy. And I'm thinking of starting a werewolf book? :)
