Josh?

Prompt: Josh has been asleep in the hospital bed for two days, and Tyler wouldn't leave until he woke up.

"Hey josh. I'm back!" Tyler walked into the blank hospital room with Taco Bell.
"It's you favorite." He told his almost dead boyfriend in the bed. The Taco Bell and Coke was left on the table in the back counter as Tyler sat on the chair next to the bed. He has been sitting there for 2 days, the Taco Bell trip was the first time he left the room.
"Josh?" He grabbed the freezing hand of the boy he loved. He thought about the call he got. It was from his mom.
"Tyler baby. Where are you" her voice had no hint of sadness.
"I'm sitting in the park. Why?" He thought she was going to say some family plan. She'd missed all the kids now that we all have our own lives.
"When's the last time you heard from Josh?" Suddenly Tyler's mind filled with anger and a bit of worry. Why was she asking?
"A week ago." Tyler remember back to the fight. Did Josh even want Tyler anymore?
"Honey. Josh. He is i-in the hospital." Her voice cracked.
"What? Why? What happened?" Before Tyler realize he, was screaming  and he couldn't lower his voice. Children in the park looked at him with fear, but all Tyler could think about was his best friend. His boyfriend.
"He tried to ki-"
His thoughts were interrupted by a slight shake from Josh.
"Josh? Josh?" His whole body shook in ways Tyler never wanted to see. His body was jumping and his eyes rolled to the back of his head.
Tyler stood up and backed up in shock. He couldn't find it to himself to do anything else. Doctors rushed in doing multiple things to Josh at once but Tyler's eyes focused on the body. It wasn't Josh anymore. It was just a body. A lifeless body. Though the doctors were talking to Tyler, all he could hear was the beep of the heart monitor.
Soon the doctors and nurses gave up trying to help him and Tyler.
Tyler picked up the light blue envelope named 'Dear Tyler'
"I love you Josh. I will always love you."
