"Can you call my family, I want to know why they didn't come,"I heard Rheeya say.

"I'll try,"the nurse said and walked out.

This is breaking my heart!

"Hey,"I said walking in.

"Hi,"she said. "Come sit."

And I did.

"So how was your weekend?" She asked.

"Okay. Went back home to be with my fam.."I said but stopped.

Seriously, I need to watch my mouth. It's what landed her here in the first place.

"Oh nice. Why did you stop? You didn't enjoy with your fambam?" She asked.

Fambam? I laughed at that.

"Fambam, that is cute,"I said.

"Thanks. I don't know why I say that. This entire weekend passed and nobody from my family showed up. No wait sorry. I was asking you, not supposed to make this about myself. So you, did you enjoy?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Woo-hoo!" She said.

"Why're you happy about that?" I asked.

"It's nice that someone's fambam cares,"she said.

I just want to hug her and tell her it'll be okay, but what's the point in lying?

"So you tell. How was your weekend?" I asked.

"I memorized everyone's name!" She said happily.

"That's great!" I said.

"Hai na?!" She asked.

I hadn't heard her speak her mother tongue in ages. Suprised me a bit.

I nodded.

"Do they not like me?" She asked out of no where.

"What?" I asked suprised.

"They didn't come back,"she said.

"They will. They don't hate you, they never did and they never will," I said.

"Okay,"she said.

"What about Gorav?" She asked.

"YOU REMEMBER HIM?!" I asked.

"He was here on Friday. I don't if it was evening or morning. But he was here. He showed me pictures. Apparently, he's my best friend,"she said.

Pictures! Why didn't I think of that?!

I facepalmed.

"It's okay. Don't do that, we can friends also," she said.

"That's not...nevermind. I'd like to be your friend,"I said.
