-Alyssa's POV-
I'm not sure where Harry is taking me, but I'm almost positive it's to meet the guy that he was talking to earlier.
Ever since Harry said those words to me, I've stayed as far away from him as possible. His words were a reminder of the fact that he's capable of anything. I mean he escaped prison, nonetheless the most heavily guarded prison. I should be petrified.
The drive isn't that long as we soon drive onto a gravel driveway. Just the look of the place gives me the chills.
"Stay here," Harry makes his demand very clear as he unbuckles and gets out of the car. Harry knocks on the unstable looking door and a tall man with a scruffy beard answers.
I can't, for the life of me, make out the words being exchanged. The man who answered the door looks my way and gives Harry a slight nod. The small action sends shivers down my spine.
Moments after my freak out, Harry disappears into the strange house. I have no idea how long he plans on being in there but I hope it's not long.
I get the feeling that I should be more afraid of this stranger than I should be of Harry. Regardless of the situation I'm in. This man definitely shows no signs of wanting to help me... Maybe it's Harry he's helping.
The thought sends me into another freak out episode as I realize Harry could have buddies. In which case, I'd be even more helpless than I am now.
I shrink down in my seat and watch the clock as the minutes pass. With each minute comes another wave of anxiety and it soon hits me, full on, the danger at hand.
I get an urge of survival instincts and immediately grab the handle on the door. I yank on it and release the door from its latch. As soon as it's open, a loud siren fills my ears. Shit. I hadn't even thought that the car siren sounds if the car is locked. I accept the fact that I have less than a minute to get somewhat of a headstart on Harry. Hopefully, he's not a fast runner.
As I begin down the road we came from, I hear the front door of the strange house open and close with a loud 'bang'. I quickly glance behind me to see how good of a chance I have at escaping my seemingly inevitable fate.
Terror takes over as Harry is much faster than I could have hoped and he is not happy.
I turn my head back around and focus everything I am into running as far as I can. My limited hopes quickly diminish as I feel a strong pair of arms enclose around my waist. I kick and elbow as much as I can, probably creating quite an interesting scene.
To my advantage, I manage to kick Harry right where it counts and he releases his grip on me falling to the ground in pain. I feel no remorse and continue my fleeing actions.
I don't bother looking back at Harry in fear that I'll see something I don't want to see.
I push myself to run even further as I hear his footsteps grow louder. My sides hurt and tears are gathering in my eyes. It's crazy how far your survival instinct can take you. Definitely farther than any gym teacher can motivate you to go.
I try to make myself laugh and it brings me closer to tears. I almost lose control as the large set of arms engulfs me again.
I burst into a full sob and lose all control. I don't care about being vulnerable or looking stupid or desperate. I just want to go home to my dad.
Harry takes me back to the car and buckles me up. I can't tell if he's mad because my vision is blurred by my tears. I can make out Harry's figure and watch as he walks over to the stranger. It looks as if he punches him in the face and my body shivers.
