Chapter 18

A/N : I feel you Adam... Sometimes I just wanna climb into a huge sweater and sit there.

Rey's POV
~
Finn laughed.

"We blew him up. Twice." He said.

"Fith, why do you think this?" I asked.

"L-Last night! I saw him! Then my back hurt and I passed out and slept!" He yelled, his voice shaking. He was actually afraid...

"Okay. I'll inform General Organa." I said. Fith followed me. His long, shaggy brown hair was all messed up. It was obvious he had just woken up.

"General Organa, Fith says his dad is alive." I said. Fith nodded.

"We have other problems, Rey. We'll just put out extra precautions." She said. Fith was trembling as we walked out.

"It's okay." I said. I touched his shoulder but he flinched around it.

"Sorry. I'm 16. I don't need re-insurance." He said. I nodded.

We walked back in the room where we where eating.

Ben grabbed my hand.

"What?" I asked. He didn't say anything. He took me out into the middle of the lot. It was empty.

"I, was going to originally train you.... So... Since Luke isn't going to teach us anymore... I could. While we stay home." He suggested. I smiled and wrapped my hands around him.

"That would be amazing." I said. He took out his three-way-saber and handed it to me.

"I made this. When I was 15... Be careful." He said. I pressed the button and the light split 3 ways. I was amazed. I had never tried using his light-saber.

For the next 3 weeks I practiced with Ben. He was an amazing teacher. I decided to do something for him... I hadn't seen Luke in a long time. Or should I say I haven't seen Luke sober-ish in a while.

I went to his room.

"Master Luke...?" I ask. He turns around.

"Can you do me a favor for Ben?" I ask. I whispered my plan to him. He nods and takes the tri-saber from me.

The next morning I wrapped the saber in paper. I woke him up.

"Surprise..." I whispered. It was early. He smiled and took the paper off.

"Oh... It's my light-saber. Thanks Rey..." He said, half awake.

"No. Turn it on." I said, happily. He smiled and pressed the button.

"WHAT?!" He yelled of excitement, tossing the saber. I quickly moved out of the way.

"It's green!" He yelled, running to go pick it up.

"Shh." I said. He was yelling and I didn't want any one waking up.

"Rey! Thank you so much!" He said, hugging me. I smiled.

"I need to do something for you know..." He said. I shook my head.

"You've done too much for me." I told him. I smiled.

"You've taught me the ways of the force. I'm so great full for your help." I Said, hugging him.

"Well... Now try and sleep again. I just couldn't wait. As soon as it was done, I wanted you to have it." I told him. He nodded, climbing back into bed. I followed him.

"I love you so much..." He said. I nodded.

"I love you too..." I said. He wrapped his arm around me.

"I think some people are starting to like me..." He said. I nodded.

"Yeah. For sure." I insured him.

He twisted me to face him. He kissed me.

"Goodnight..." He mumbled, tucking my head under neath his.

We woke up maybe only two hours later to a loud boom. Where we being bombed?!

I sat up and ran. I looked out the window. It was Hux. He had many TIE fighters shooting at the base! Everyone crowded into the long corridor. I ran outside. I had my gun Han Solo had given me and I shot a few troopers that had reached the ground. General Hux had reached the ground. Ben was beside me. Finn was running up and Poe was already climbing into a fighter-jet to shoot down what was left of The First Order.

General Organa was leading people to a protection area while we tried fighting off as best as we could. Ben sliced three troopers and broke two mores neck with the force.

I went to shoot many. I used the force to choke another few.

Before I knew it, I was face to face with the General. He smirked.

"You've finally failed. Your time has come..." He said, holding up a blaster. He missed me by a long ways.

"What?!" I was confused. I turned around me.

"BEN!" I yelled. The laser had gone straight through him. I ran over to him. I put my hand on his chest. Blood was draining.

The General pointed a blaster to my head. Ben looked up at me through squinted eyes. A small smile went to is face.

"Rey... I always knew there was an awakening... The Awakenings in you. The Awakenings in Rey." He said looking up and closing his eyes.

"No... Please... Don't go..." I cried. I didnt have the time. I cried into his chest, my body covered in Ben's blood.
