SOOOOO WAAAAAAKE UUUUUP! YOUR SLEEEEPING HEAAAAARRRRT!
What the?! I suddenly woke up hearing the Vamps song, Wake Up blast from my phone on my desk. Well daaaaaang. I pressed the answer button on my iPhone 6s and put it on speaker.
"Who dare disturb me while I'm sleeping?" I yelled through the phone.
"Ry! It's mom. Please get up and start packing your bags." My mom sighed, "You leave at 5:00 tonight and I know you didn't start packing." My dearest mother said knowingly.
How did she know? And then it hit me and I couldn't stop the words from coming out of my mouth.
"OHH HECK NO! You can't be serious! Please, please, please! I really don't want too! MOM!"
I yelled, wait scratch that, begged my mom. I can't go back! Well at least not yet. Want to know why?
Well... I'm way too lazy to get out of my cozy bed and pack all my clothes or my life.
My lovely mother just laughed and told me, "Well you don't really have a choice. Taylor and Kennedy are already done so you need to do the same. I love you Ry!"
She hung up on me, just like that. Whatever am I going to do?! But I really did miss my family, especially my mom and dad. I missed hearing my mom's angelic voice everyday and my dad's silly toned one.I've been living in Paris, away from my parents and brother ever since I was 10 years old. When my brother was 13 and I was 10, he decided he wanted to become a professional football player. Being the supporting parents they are, my parents were just fine with my brother, Mason's , decision. I always wanted to take over the company so I asked my parents if I could become the heiress to Rivers Inc. They were ecstatic and that's when I made the decision to go to a boarding school in Paris and learn as much as I could. I blew right through middle school and high school in just 4 years, meaning I skipped multiple grades, and entered college when I was 15. I graduated college just this year with my two best friends Taylor or Tay Schmer and Kennedy or Ken Nobles. We've been best friends since we were five. Don't ask how we met. Anyways, I only saw my parents during my birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I honestly missed them and I can't wait to go back!
I decided to get out of bed, unwillingly, to fix my bed, brush my teeth, then take a shower. After my shower, I put on a black sports bra, cropped maroon tank top, and a pair of black yoga pants. I put my hair up in a messy bun because it gets in the way.
I walked out of my room and entered the kitchen, where Tay and Ken were making bacon and eggs, singing like crazy people, and dancing around. What a sight!
"Whatcha guys doing?" I asked while laughing.
They both turned around and started screaming. "Cheeez" I thought, what's up with them.
"Ry! Aren't you like excited to go back to Coastal City?! I know I am! Boy did I miss everyone so much..." Kennedy spoke with so much excitement and I had to smile back.
"I did too. I can't wait to see my parents a-"
I didn't even get to finish my sentence when Kennedy spoke once again.
"And your amazingly hot brother! Can't forget him!"
"Or his amazingly hot friend, Evan!" Tay gushed. Of course they only thought about guys. My brother and his two best friends are the three most wanted men. I don't know why. Ev or Evan is nice, mischievous, but defiantly a player as well as my brother. Will is a different story. He's handsome, I'll say that much, but he's a player and he'll only break your heart. I don't know much about them but that's what I observed from the times I saw them which was when I was ten years old I think. That was eight years ago.Eight years since I've seen Coastal City. Eight years since I've been in Paris. Eight years since I've slept in my bedroom and not a dorm. Eight years...I'm so old.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw two big eyes staring right back into mines. "What the heck!" I screamed as I fell back.
"Ry! You should've seen your face! It was priceless!" Taylor laughed as she was laying on the floor holding her stomach.
"Oh gosh Tay. Please get up off the floor and Rylie, pack your things. We do have a plane to catch." Ken reasoned. Man, I didn't even get to eat anything yet.
"Ugh, fine. Can't I do it after I eat though. Most of my things are packed anyways." I simply stated.Ken gave me one of her famous, don't-even looks. Well daaaaaaaaaaaaang.
Three hours later and almost 5 suitcases full and ready to go I asked, "Hold up! Who is picking us up from the airport?"
"Mr. Connell is. Your mom called me when you were too busy dreaming of I don't know who." Tay told me, making me blush and causing her and Ken to laugh at me. Rolling my eyes, I walked outside of the small living room and onto the balcony I've come to love in the past eight years. "Oh how I'll miss the beautiful view of the small vendors and cute antique shops." I thought to myself.
"Let's go Ry! We can't afford to be late!" Ken called.
Time to go home and see what awaits for me there.
