Originality is very hard to find these days
There are a lot of us out here doing things the same old ways
One reason we fall into these traps are because of stereotypes
These lies are man made, making it difficult to see the wrongs from the rights
Stereotypes are nothing but the devil's way of judging you
Notice that majority are not compliments, yet majority believe them to be true
To say that white people can't dance, rap, or take care of their children
To say that blacks can't read, write, or can only sell drugs to make a million
To say that all women can do are make babies, cook, and clean
To say that all men do is crave sex, lust, and have the right to be heard and seen
To say the Christians judgmentally force religion upon the rest of the Earth
To say that all Catholic priests molest young men and all nuns abort a baby to bury it under the church
To say every football player or exotic dancer has to be "all of that..."
Is like seeing a person with chubby cheeks and automatically calling them "fat"
Every human has taken the judgmental hit
Then we wonder why the world has so much insecurity in it
The church is dumb, the preachers are lazy, and the prophets are crazy...
The only excuse for these stereotypes people have is "this is the way society made me"
Don't fall into these classifications, for you, they are no good.
That's like seeing an educated person and assuming they aren't from "the hood".
Unbelievable to see an African American speaking intelligently right
People have to say "why you talkin' like that? You sound so white"
Stereotypes are Satan's way of degrading you
Just because you hear it, doesn't have to mean it's true
Sex, drugs, money, all the things pleasurable to the world
Let's be honest with ourselves, what's the first thing we see when we think of a 16 year old girl?
Pregnancy, birth control, sex, and boys
It's a shame we can't even think back to when the five year olds used to play with toys.
They say the preacher's kids are all rebellious, wild, and wasted
Don't believe the hype, I'm the daughter of a twenty-year Evangelist and I still feel amazing
I see a lot of young people living according to the stereotype
You should be ones to make the difference, not to believe the hype
Just because you're a preacher's kid doesn't mean you have to rebel or lie
Just because you're over 50 doesn't mean you need medication to get by
Let God define who you are, not based from a man made perception
Stop living in a stereotype, this is anywhere but near protection
See because doing this you'll end up hurt
Letting the world define and influence you leads you straight into an early dirt
See some people will put on a smiling face in church and deceive everyone in thought
When in reality they return home to a life of sin hoping to never get caught
The influence of the world is a horrible thing
Trouble living in the stereotypes of your race, sex, or age is all it has to bring
16 is not a sex & pregnancy age, 21 wasn't made for the clubs
50 isn't a sickening age, and 18 wasn't made to do drugs.
Stereotypes are Satan's worldly classification of you
It lowers ambition & morals and robs you of the things you could potentially do.
Do what's right because of who you are, not because of what someone labeled you as
Seriously, stereotypes are like saying you play for the White Sox just because you bought the baseball cap
God gives us all unique personality & assignment and tells us not to worry
Stereotypes are like saying you play for the Lakers just because you bought the jersey.
And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Romans 12:2
