"I should have never said anything about how hot you look on your Harley. Seriously, baby."

Jewel remained by the front steps of the church, not trusting his motorbike.

"What's wrong with my bike? You've ridden this countless times before."

"I know, but not in a dress!"

"You had once. Lance and Judith's wedding, remember?"

"Well, it wasn't as dramatic of a dress as the one I'm wearing now."

"Would you like to get changed then?"

"No! This dress costs a fortune. I'd like to make the best out of it."

"Then come on so you could proceed in showing it off to the guests some more."

"I won't fit in that bike with this huge balloon skirt!"

Kerwin sighed exasperatedly and got off the bike. He went to her and caged her face in his hands. "Can you just trust me on this? I've taken good care of you for the past three years, haven't I? Why would I not do that now, today of all days?"

She buried her face in his neck, like she always did, her arms wrapped around him. "Sorry, I'm being cranky."

"Don't be; it's our day."

She pushed off him and stepped towards his bike. "Let's go, we wouldn't want to keep the guests waiting."

"We could just ditch the whole reception thing and ran off somewhere else."

"What would the guests say?"

"Why should we care? As the very much eager and happily in love groom, I think I'm more than entitled to run away with my wife."

She giggled but shook her head. "A few more hours, baby."

He helped her on his bike before getting on himself. "Whoever invented these things is a bad guy." Once her arms were securely wrapped around him, he started the engine.

She placed small kisses across his back, and he could feel her smile. "Don't worry, baby. I'll make it worth your while."

He grinned as he drove off. "I'm counting on that, Mrs. Matthews."
