Souls pov
I took Maka's hand as we ran through the alley
"Soul where are we going?" She asked with great worry in her eyes
"Don't worry Maka we'll be ok." I said trying to reassure her.
We ran until we until we reached a club it was really busy. Maka and I went around back and sure enough there was Blair just like she said.
She opened the door and let us in Blair had worked as a Barista at a trendy new club that was always busy so it was the perfect place to hide.
We ran into the large club and went up the stairs to the roof, before finally sitting down.
I hugged Maka close
"were finally safe." I mumbled to myself
we sat and stared at the stars until something came up behind me and grabbed the collar of my shirt
Maka's pov
Soul was sitting with his arm around me until a shadowy figure came and grabbed Soul by his shirt and held him in the air.
"Soul!"
He struggled and tried to escape but didn't make it very far.
"Nice job Wes." The second figure said
Wes? I thought, Wes!
"Stop what are you doing!" I yelled trying to get to Soul before I was tripped.
Souls pov
"Maka watch out!" My dad came up behind Maka and injected her with something that made her fall asleep.
"MAKA!"
My dad picked her up, put her in the back of the limousine and told Wes to hurry up.
"I'm sorry little bro." Wes said jumping off the roof and driving off...
And once again I was alone.
-flashback-
I was sitting alone in the snow with tears slowly growing in my eyes.
"They'll be back."

I kept repeating to myself
"They'll be back."
But I couldn't lie to myself forever
