Leah

Hey! I'm Leah May Baltons. 14 years old and a freshman at Calven High. I'm currently living in London but my hometown is at California. I am pretty shy but I got some pretty decent friends. I barely talk Calfornian or American accents 'cause well, I live in England. This is pretty rare to say, especially to girls like my age...well...I have NO boyfriends since I was born. I don't know how to handle relationships because I never got into one. Yeeeeaah, so much for the talk, let's dig in to my story, shall we?

I woke up early in the morning. I looked at the clock, as usual, and get up. Morning Routine. I hardly ever get sleep because I sleep at 10:00-11:00pm everyday! And I have school to go to in the morning! Well luckily, there's no school this day because there's a teacher meeting. After wondering around, I saw a big truck. A pretty ginormous one actually. Actually, that truck was used to carry for someone to move into the neighbourhood and that was our truck that is carrying the other things left in our old house. I saw someone in the neighbourhood watering their plants. I called Julie, who is my friend for almost 10 years! She picked it up after a minute of waiting...

"Leah? Why did you call? It's early in the morning!" she said seeming tired? Guess what? She was dragged into a party that actually was a college party in a uni but she has a low tolerance on alcohol...yeeaah. You kind of see where that goes. Don't ask me why the uni allowed alcohol in their school. Ask the college dudes.

"Because there's someone in the neighbourhood that is telling my gut to meet them!" I answered excitedly. "Oh and by the way, it's not morning. It's already past 11:00am." I stated.

"What about it that has to do with the phone call?" she answered whining, definitely annoyed and also evading my statement. Sheesh, she still might be tipsy a little bit.

"I just don't know who to approach," I answered whilst making my bed.

"Well, you better find out yourself! And I bet it is a family with a son, a handsome son!" she said and I bet smirking. I could tell because we're best friends for 10 years, remember?

"We'll see," I answered. I smiled before brought up another conversation. We always talked about guys, well, she mostly talks about guys and being the shy one I am, well, let's just say that I don't talk too much.

We've been friends since we were little and up until now. She is the only friend that I have since then. We became friends because, again, being the shy and little one (yes, I am short. Don't even) I got bullied, said that I was short and weak. But being Julie, who is taller than me and her family is a bit influential, she saved me. And yes, I was thankful that moment but little did I know before that she is the daughter of the owner of the school. Pretty cool, right? And we bacme friends up unt—

"I have to go Julie, bye!" I cut the call hastily as I heard a knock on my door. Gawd! This early? I didn't even got a shower yet!

"Good morning dear! I thought you were asleep?" Mum questioned as I open my door for her. Well, obviously I'm not sleeping right now.

"Woke up early," I answered looking at my phone playing with the names on the contacts. Sheesh, mum! Can you learn not to knock when someone is talking to someone? Gosh!

"Breakfast is ready, come downstairs if you want to join us!" she said. Really? Is that it? Well, don't get me wrong about me not loving my mum but it's just—she's a morning person (couldn't argue with that) and when she wakes up, she wakes me up too. Since today is a half day, well she woke up but didn't wake me up. Which is a good thing. Well, if that's what she's used to, then I'll maybe get used to it. Maybe.
