Leah

As I left Harold, my soulmate and my boyfriend, in the hospital, I couldn't help but cry. Some nurses saw me and they pitied me but I don't care. I don't care of what people think about me. I mean, look at what's happening! Harold is on a comatose! And maybe will have an amnesia and I hope not! And he's lying down there, unconscious! Ugh! Why the heck is this happening anyways?! I mean, he's innocent and sure he's kind of bad but that was before! Before he met me. He kind of changed when he saw me. I mean he was kind of rude at first but why this?! What's the problem karma?!

All I can think karma is a bitch. A merciless crazy bitch.

I finally got out of the hospital as the car which dad drove will take me and mom to the airport. Dad's staying here because he said he have some papers to sign and trips, business trips, to attend to along with Harold's dad, Harry Stalnes.

"Dad?" I asked dad whilst I open the car's door and me and Alvin stepped in the backseat.

"Yes, dear?"

"What are the places where will you go?" I said and sighed because he sort of raised a brow. "About the business trip?"

"Oh," he sighed. "Well, we will go to San Francisco, of course here in Sacramento, and I forgot the other places."

"Okay," I tried to fix a smile but failed. "Will you look after Harold for me?" I tried to make a cute pout and surprisingly did. "Please?"

"Of course dear. Don't worry." He said as he turned the ignition on and the car purred to life. "His dad is my boss, right? So I will be going with him everywhere except his residence of course." He said whilst he drived to the main road and soon will arrive at the airport. "Respecting his privacy is part of my job, if you know what I mean." He winked.

"Malcolm! Stop that! Our child is very young to know that!" Mom yelled before she slapped my dad. He grimaced in pain and I bursted laughing. I couldn't help it. Well, I mean look at his face after mom slapped him! The mark of the slap is still there.

Mom smiled and as well as dad. I looked at the both of them and raised a brow. "It's good to have you laughing again dear." Dad said.

"Yes. We missed how you laugh." Mom said as he reached for me for a hug. I then moved closer to her so she can have the advantage to hug me and she did. She hugged me so tight that I couldn't even breath.

"Mom...c-can't breath." I tried to say it properly but the tightness of her hug can't make me.

"Sorry honey. I missed you hugging."

"Mom, you hugged me this afternoon and the time before I can even reach the car." I said sternly and kind of raised my voice a little. Mom pouted and I chuckled. "Mom seriously. You hugged me like everyday in your whole life!"

"I just—I love hugging you very much."

"Not as much as Alvin's hugs." I mumbled in response. She didn't hear it. Thank goodness.

"Hey! I heard that!" Alvin said after, I think, removing his headphones out of his ears.

"You don't think I also didn't hear you, dear?" Mom said whilst she is raising her left brow.

I was about to say something but dad cut me off. "We're here."

I opened the car's door and slammed it behind me. I hastily pulled out my luggage and dragged it with me whilst I walk to where mom is. Mom is rummaging in her bag to I think look for the tickets. I smiled and offered her my hand to help. She smiled back and we started rummaging into the gigantic bag.
