Fork in the road

Andy POV

I walked over to the bathroom door and waited until the water shut off and Eva stepped in the bath.

I could hear her stepping into the hot water, and begin to hum, I waited outside until the humming subsided.
The handle was warm to the touch as I quietly opened the door and stepping onto the wet floor tiles, I looked over at Eva , she was leaning back in the tub with her head propped up with a neck rest.
I walked behind her and began to rub her shoulders, her eyes remained closed as I pressed harder into her shoulders.
I continued until Eva's hand slipped into the water, splashing dark red water over the side of the tub.
"Eva?!..."
Eva didn't move a muscle.
I splashed the water and disperse the bubbles, the water was a dark red almost black. I pulled Eva out o the water and laid her in the floor, patches of her stomach was bleeding, I began licking the wounds making them begin to heal, I watched the wound heal completely.
I tried to wake her by shaking her by the shoulder.
"Guys!!" I shouted as I covered Eva with a towel, a large red puddle caught my eye, it covered my legs, my eyes followed the pool of blood towards the apex of her thighs.

  CC ran into the room, his eyes wide in shock.

"what's happening, is the baby okay?!" I almost screamed, clutching an almost lifeless Eva in my arms.

"It seems that, there isn't enough amniotic fluid to carry the baby to full term" CC looked up at me with a sorrowful look on his face.

"is the baby gonna be okay? and Eva?" I began to shake as a single tear ran down my cheek.

"its hard to say but with this amount of blood the chances are slim for your baby as for Eva she should be fine but she will need to rest for a while and feed a lot until then we wont know the damage that's been done" CC looked at the door way as the others stood idle, not knowing what to do or say.

I nodded silently as I picked Eva up from the floor as CC lent over and drained the tub, "ill put some clean water in the tub so you can clean her up" cc said as I walked past the others into our room.

I laid Eva in bed and covered her with the duvet, I laid beside her with my head on her now much smaller bump hoping for any sign of movement, I waited without luck.

once the bath was full, I lowered her into the water and lent her head on a pillow id taken from our room, I grabbed a cloth from the sink and dipped it into the water and started to wipe away the dry blood from Eva's body, she groaned from time to time whilst I was wiping the blood from her stomach.

she opened her eyes slowly as I wiped away the blood from her legs, "what happened?" she asked panicked as she looked down and the red tinted water.

her hands went strait to her now almost unnoticeable bump, "where is my baby?!" she shouted, as she gripped the sides of the tub as she began to panic, the cast iron tub started to bend and crack under Eva's strength.

"honey, CC said there isn't enough amniotic fluid to support his development" I began to cry.

Eva's POV

I couldn't comprehend what I was hearing, I felt my stomach, there was no movement.

I stepped out of the water and into our room, I dried off quickly and pulled on some black skinny jeans, a black American horror story tee with a stud covered leather jacket, I walked over to the mirror and tied my hair in a high pony tail before heading to the door, I slipped on my black converse and ran.

I could hear the guys in the distance shouting after me, anger pulsed through me, I ran until I found a old cabin, I could hear multiple heartbeats throughout the building, I ran through the door and latched onto the first person in sight, the others began to scream and run.

"sam!" a blonde girl screamed running towards me, she slipped before she could intervene and slid across the floor to myside, I crushed her head under my palm, with a loud crack, I finished with poor little 'sam' and fed on what was left of blondie.

I lifted my head and listened for the others, I pinpointed 6 others all running in close proximity of each other in the same direction.

I sprinted out the backdoor and followed the sent for a few seconds after running as fast as I could I could see another girl, clearly struggling to keep up with the others, I leapt into the trees and followed her from above making sure she could see me, I could feel my eyes burn bright red, I could smell the fear radiating from her, I had enough of toying with my food, I jumped down from the branches and caught her by the throat.

"p-please, I wont tell anyone what happened I swear!" the girl pleaded, I stared intently as she began to cry, I started to stroke her hair.

"I know you wont" before I tore through her throat, she gargled as she tried to scream for help, her blood soon went sour.

"dead already? and I thought teenagers where supposed to have some fight in them" I threw her body to the floor and continued to follow my food, I stuck to the trees jumping between trees quicker than you could blink.

I soon found a guy and a girl hiding in a hollow tree stump, I clung to the tree as I got closer to the pair.

"that wasn't fucking human!!" the girl began to panic.

"its okay I'll keep you safe baby" the guy smirked.

I jumped to the ground making my presence known to the pair.

"does it know where here?" the girl whispered.

"fuck this" the guy said before clawing his way out from the hollow of the tree.

I grabbed him by the throat, "its okay ill keep you safe baby" I smirked before ripping his torso apart, I plucked his head from his shoulders and rolled it into the hollow.

"Oh my god! I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die..." the girl repeated again and again.

I walked up the side of the tree and sat for a moment to give her a sense of false hope, it wasn't long until she was lured out of her hiding spot, she looked strait ahead whilst getting to her feet.

"shit I'm covered in muck!" the stupid bitch exclaimed rather than care for the dead body before her.

"that's gonna be the least of your worries" I growled and jumped from my spot and sunk into the soft flesh of her neck I drank slowly intending on keeping her alive for a short while, I placed my knee on her spine and slowly applied pressure until she began to scream, I shoved her face into the dirt and I applied all the force I could to her spine, it gave way with a satisfying snap.

I drank until she was seconds away from death, following after the others quickly, letting her die motionless and alone.

the last three stood in a small clearing, two guys and a cheerleader stood in the clearing, I sped towards them grabbing one by the throat whilst I ripped into the throat of the other.

I stared blankly at the cheerleader as I drained them one after the other, she screeched at the horror before her, I finished feeding quickly and began running to catch up with the cheerleader.

I could see her running before me, I quickened my pace and lurched for her, grabbing at her head and throat, I bit through her soft flesh as we fell to the ground, the force took its toll and broke her neck, I continued to feed until the blood was cold.
