Love and nightmares

(Andy's POV)

Eva's lifeless body was sprawled across the floor and covered in blood, cuts covered her arms and the razor was still clenched in her hand.

"JAKE, CC!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs whilst cradling Eva in my arms, I carried her bridal style to my room where jake followed as CC flickered to steal some supplies from the hospital.

I laid her on the bed and watched as jake pulled out a first aid box and began to clean and stitch her wounds.

"This will help" I bit into my wrist once more to save Eva's life, she was still unresponsive, I tipped back her head and parted her lips and let my blood drip into her mouth.

CC flickered at Eva's side with another drip, I studied as he sunk the needle once more into the pit of her elbow taped the bag above the bed.

I turned around to see jinx and Ashley poking their heads behind the door,
"Is she going to be okay?" jinx's voice full with concern "yeah, she should be fine but she's lost a lot of blood" why would she do this to herself? just why? tears began to well up in my eyes, I blinked them away.

Jake finished his stitching and left the room, so did the others.

I was then about to remove my wrist, but Eva's tongue swept across the bite, yet her eyes stayed closed, her response to my blood caused a smile to briefly sweep across my face.

I slowly withdrew my wrist, and laid beside her, she looked so happy while she slept.

But Eva began to shake, I watched as her hands gripped tightly to the bedding as she shook her head, her heart was beating faster than I could run.

I had to know what was going on inside her head, I wrapped my arms around Eva as I began to watch her dream.

(Andy's POV in Eva's dream)

I watched as Eva sprinted along the beach, panic surged through her mind as she sprinted faster and faster to a pier.

I teleported I front of her to only have her run right through me, 'I guess I'm invisible or something?'

She stopped and shouted "stop" but I couldn't see who she was shouting at, her pace even faster as she headed towards the end of the pier towards someone that looked exactly like her was about to jump, Eva launched herself through the bars of the pier just as the girl jumped, eve hooked her foot around one of the bars to prevent falling herself as she tried to catch her hand, but was too late.

she stayed there leaning down towards the water, tears fell from her eyes, the only thing keeping her from following was her foot that was hooked around one of the bars.

The image then became cloudy and the scenery changed.

Her dream morphed into the inside of a large family home, Eva was no where to be seen.

I walked around the house to try and find out what is going on.

"C'mon, Evie's not home, let's snoop around in her room" I looked around the coroner to see a boy and girl both around 6, but the looks of things, they where twins?

What is the deal with twins or doubles?

I stood behind them and watched as they entered Eva's room, I obviously followed out of curiosity.

Her room was covered in band posters, of mice and men, fall out boy, Asking Alexandria, falling in reverse, upon a burning body, there was so many, I was so mesmerised by her collection I didn't notice the smoke that began to fill the room.

"I knew this was a bad idea joah!" The little girl panicked, the fire they had created spread across the doorway and through the room.

"Get out!!" I screamed and tried to get their attention but I was practically a ghost in this dream.

I could do nothing but watch as the twins began to choke and collapsed on the floor, the fire soon consumed the house and everyone inside it.

I flickered outside the house to find a crowd of people watching the house burn.

Eva came running through the crowd and kicked through the door and sprinted through the house, I followed closely behind as she ran into her room and threw her jacket over the twins and carried them out to the waiting ambulance.

I watched as she lent over and choked and coughed from the smoke, she began to cough up black blood and began to shake but somehow she managed to calm herself and she got back up and brushed herself off.

'Damn, she's almost as good as batman!'

The scene became cloudy once more and revealed a bright hospital and the sound of a flat line, I peered into the room where the noise came from, to see the two twins heart flatline.

"Where are they!?" Eva screamed from down the hall and sprinted in my direction.

She stopped dead at the doorway and fell to her knees with her head in her hands.

Tears filled my eyes as I could feel exactly what she was feeling, It felt like my heart had been ripped out through my mouth, and my chest had been stomped on.

The image went black as Eva shot up from the bed.

I couldn't speak from what id just encountered, I pulled her close to me as her tears began to fall.

"You read my mind, didn't you?" she spoke through breaths.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you but I wanted to know what was upsetting you, how did you know?"

She wiped away her tears and looked at me, her eyes where brighter from crying, they where beautiful.

"I've had the same dream for 2 years now, but then it's felt different, it felt like I was being watched" she buried her head in the crook of my neck.

I lifted her head and glanced down at her arm.

"you don't have to say anything about why you hurt yourself, but can you promise me you won't do it again, I know it's a lot to ask but please, I never want to see you like that again, I don't want to loose you"

"Why am I so special to you?" She looked down at her hands.

'Ive gotta tell her'

"Because your my mate..." 'What if she rejects me, what if she doesn't love me like I love her?

"What do you mean?" her hand found mine and our fingers entwined

"It means my vampire heart has chosen to love you, and only you"
