I smiled at the man. I handed Judith back to Rick. "It's nice to meet you. Could you please tell Carl I said the same about him." Rick nodded and smiled.
"Come on I'm sure there is someone you would like to see." Michonne said. I followed her for a short time to another house. She knocked on the door and I stood there waiting to see who it was. When Ron answered my question was answered.
"Ron," I sighed pulling him into a hug. "I missed you."
He hugged me tightly, "I missed my Macy." I felt my shirt slightly become wet. He was crying."Hey, Ron don't cry." I looked at him, almost dead in the eyes, damn he's getting tall. "I'm right here, I'm never leaving you again."
"Promise," He looked up at me with tears streaming down his face.
"I promise you Ron." He cracked a smile.
"Good." He sighed as he hugged me again.
"I'll leave you to visit." Michonne smiled at us.
I mouthed a 'thank you' to her and smiled.
"Hey, Is Sammy here?" I mumbled into Ron's hair.
Ron simply nodded and started walking inside while I followed behind him. He suddenly stopped and turned around and looked at me. "You don't have to worry, My mom isn't here right now. I forced a smile at my little brother. Hoping he didn't remember the fights we had.
Flashback
"You can't be here like this!" Jessie screamed at me.
"Like what?" I slurred slightly. Looking at the woman my father had married.
"Drunk Mason, The kids Ron shouldn't see you like this!" She shouted at me.
"Nothing is wrong with me," I told her as I started towards the stairs stumbling, holding myself up on the wall.
"Mason you are wasted," She told me.
"You don't know shit." I spat at her.
"I know you're drunk and your dads not going to be please." She looked at me with a smirk.
"Oh please bitch, you think that still scares me." I laughed at her.
"You better get upstairs and be ready when your dad gets home." She smiled at me.
"Oh so now you're threatening me, what do you want me to beg you not to tell my dad.' I laughed slightly before yelling, 'Oh please, Jessie, please, don't tell my daddy!" I laughed once more.
"Mommy," A sweet tired voice
"Good job, You woke up Ron!" She screamed.
---
"Thanks for telling me bud." I smiled at him. He smiled back.
"No problem." He walked up the stairs with me following closely. We walked down the hall some and to the left he opened a door. I smiled when I saw Sammy sitting down coloring. When the door opened he looked up and smiled seeing me.
I smiled at my young brother, "Hi Mason." He said in a friendly voice. Still causing me to frown.
"What did you call me?" I asked him, my brothers had always called me Macy. I had never once heard Sam call me by my full name.
"Mom told me I'm not allowed to all you the other name." He told me looking down.
"Oh," I said, sighing. I never liked Jessie. Then again who did I like besides my brothers.
"I missed you Sam." I smiled Hugging him. His arms stayed limp at his side as I did. I felt bad. What on earth had Jessie told him to make him not want to hug me. I sighed. "It was nice to see you Sammy." I stood and walked out of his room. Ron must have left cause he was no longer there. I sighed walking downstairs not understanding what Jessie could have told Sam to make him not like me. Beast was no where to be found, probably off finding something to eat. Going downstairs I saw Jessie and Rick kissing passionately. I cleared my throat and they jumped a[art. Jessie looked furious.
"What are you doing in my house?" She demanded.
"Don't worry I was just leaving," I sighed walking outside. Only to watch a lady smoking who I had never met take a machete to the back. I felt as if everything went in slow motion when I screamed, "No!" The man who hit her brought the machete down on her head, causing hell to rise.
