Chapter 17: Last Glance

*Aubrey's POV*

I felt like shit right now. I was at work and I was at the counter taking orders. The new girl was making drinks and she was short, blonde, spunky, and really pretty.

"Are you alright?" She asked me.

"Uhm... Yeah I just had a fight with my boyfriend." I said.

"Harry Styles right?" She asked.

"Yeah... He's angry at me." I said she nodded. "Uhm what's your name by the way?" I asked her.

"Skye Saunders." She smiled at me. I looked at her and she had bright blue eyes and streaks of her hair were dyed a faded pink color and some blue. She was really pretty and made me feel insecure.

"Pretty name... So what are your opinions on drummers?" I asked, might as well try it.

"So hot. Oh my god." She said and I chuckled.

"How about One Directions drummer?" I asked and she thought.

"Josh right?" She asked.

"Mhm! Isn't he just-"

"I'd tap it." She said and I laughed at her bluntness. She shrugged. "He's hot. Why?" She asked me.

"He's single." I winked at her. She blushed "I think he'd like you." I told her. She laughed.

"Doubt it." She shook her head.

"Come with me after work and you can meet him." I said and she shrugged but nodded. We went back to work then Aiden told us we could go. We got to the hotel and the security guard let me in. I called Niall figuring he was with Josh.

"Hello?" His Irish accent answered.

"Hey Ni, are you with Josh?" I asked.

"Yeah why?" He asked.

"Come downstairs with him. There's someone I want to introduce him to." I said. He agreed and we waited there.

"What if he doesn't like me?" She asked.

"He will." I winked at her. I heard Niall's laugh from down the hall. He turned the corner with Josh and they stopped walking. I saw Josh's jaw drop and I smiled. I walked over with Skye behind me.

""H-hi." Josh said and I laughed.

"Josh this is Skye and Skye this is Josh Devine." They shook hands and I stood by Niall.

"How did you find her?" He asked me.

"Work." I shrugged. He looked at me and we laughed. "Is Harry here?" I asked. He shrugged.

"I don't know, I've been with Josh all day. You can check the suite." I nodded and we walked upstairs and Josh and Skye were hitting it off. I smiled at Niall and he winked at me and mouthed a 'nice job.'

"So do you want to go out? Maybe tonight?" Josh asked her and she blushed.

"I'd love to." She smiled and he nodded.

"Great, you can stay here in the meantime if you'd like." He said.

"Okay!" She smiled. We got off the elevator and Niall and I went to the boys suite while Josh went to his and everyone else's.

"I'm starved." Niall said unlocking the door. I chuckled.

"I'll make you grilled cheese?" I asked.

"Would you?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'll make a couple." I said. He nodded and we walked in.

"Hey Niall and... Aubrey." Louis said and I chuckled. Liam was sitting on the couch with his head in his hands next to Louis. Zayn was on a chair looking at me and Harry wasn't anywhere to be seen.
