Chapter I

The scene opens to a vast blue sky. Different varieties of flying types flew through the sky without a single care in the world. It was the perfect day; absolutely peaceful. Near a waterfall, a Froakie laid on the ground. The small water Pokemon groaned as it woke up. "W-where am I?" it murmured. "I'm so thirsty," it thought as it hopped towards the river. As the Froakie leaned down to take a drink, it was surprised to see its reflection.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" the Froakie yipped as it jumped back from the river in shock. "W-what!? How did I become a Froakie!?" it yelled. Before the perplexed water type could continue pondering its current situation, three Pokemon appeared out of the forest. The Pokemon had only one eye each, large hands, and a black body. "W-who are you?" the Froakie asked as it backed up a little. The three Pokemon said nothing and prepared to attack. 

"Wait! Hold on! What's going on!?" Froakie yelled confused as it backed away slowly. The three advancing Pokemon remained mute as they prepared to attack. Froakie jumped back a few hops. The three Pokemon brought their hands together, and a Shadow Ball appeared in their hands. Before they could launch their attacks, a sharp gust a wind blew through the clearing and forced the three Pokemon to cancel their attacks.

A yellow Pokemon jumped out of the forest, and landed in between Froakie and the three Pokemon. "Three against one isn't a fair fight," it said. "W-who are you?" Froakie asked surprised. "No time for introductions, kido. On the count of three, close your eyes and ran into the forest," the pokemon said. "O-okay," Froakie stuttered. The Pokemon nodded, "okay, here we go. One...Two...Three!" it yelled as it opened its frills and emitted a blinding light. "Run, kido! Run!" The Pokemon yelled as it spun around and ran into the forest.

The Froakie ran till it felt the soft feeling of the glass  under its webbed feet. The two fell against two trees. "I-I think we lost them," the Pokemon panted. The Froakie nodded, "T-thank you," it panted. "N-no prob," the Pokemon panted. "What's your name by the way?" Froakie asked. "I guess I can talk to Pokemon now. Cool," it thought. "What!? You don't know who I am!?" the Pokemon asked shocked as it stood up. "I'm Heliolisk, archaeologist extraordinaire! Surely you've heard of me!?" the Pokemon asked loudly. The Froakie sweat dropped, "Well, you see, sir. I'm not really a Pokemon, but a human. I woke up back there with no memory, but what my name is," it explained.

Heliolisk frowned, "You're a human? But you look like any normal Froakie to me, kido," he said. "I am, honest. Though, my name isn't kido, it's Erin," the Froakie said. The Generator Pokemon frowned even more. "Well, I'm guessing those Dusclops aren't friends of your's," he said. Erin shook her head. "Nope, not in the slightest," she said. Heliolisk hummed, "Meaning you don't have a place to stay," he guessed. "Ehh...no. i would be grateful if...you know...come stay with you?" Erin asked without thinking first, "Wait...did I just say that out loud!? Oh no! I hope he doesn't think I'm broaching!" the water Pokemon thought panicked.

"Well that war really out of the blue. But, what the heck! I can't just leave someone in need! Pokemon or not, you can come stay with me till your memory comes back," Heliolisk said. "Thank you, Heliolisk!" Erin exclaimed happily. "Now, follow me!" Heliolisk cheered as he marched away. Erin laughed at her new friend's/guardian's behavior and marched after Heliolisk.

The two marched till they exited the forest. "See that big tree? There's a small village on the shore of the lake. That's Serene Village, home to the friendlist Pokemon around!" Heliolisk exclaimed. "Oh wow!" Erin exclaimed as she hurried up to side beside Heliolisk. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Heliolisk nodded, "Yup? Now, march!" he cheered as he started to march down the hill and towards the village.
