~After School~
A few hours passed, and the dismissal bell rang. "Okay, everyone, be sure to study everything we went over today. It will be on the quiz we will have tomorrow. Dismissed," Mr. Ambipom said and everyone started to pack up.
"Hey, Erin, we don't quite know much about you. Where did you come from?" Cacnea asked. "He had a point," Pachirisu commented and a few others agreed with the two.
Erin frowned, "Where I'm from? Oh no...Would they believe me if I told them the truth?" She thought nervously. Treecko perked up a little, and looked at Erin. "Well? We're waiting," Cacnea said impatiently.
The Bubble Frog bit her lip a little. "I'm actually a human. I was sent her from the human world, but I can't remember anything before Heliolisk found me," she admitted. The area went dead silent. "A human? Do you think we're stupid?" Cacnea asked.
"Back off, Cacnea. If she says that she's human, then why would we question that? I admit, that it is a bit strange, but I'm not going to question it," Treecko snapped. "I kinda agreed with Cacnea. Saying that someone is from the human world, it's kinda unbelievable," Pachirisu admitted.
"I-it's true," Erin murmured. Cacnea rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right. Whatever you say, liar," he said. Erin shook her head, and hopped out of school. "Erin, wait!" Treecko yelled as she ran after her friend.
The Bubble Frog Pokemon didn't stop till she reached the square. "E-Erin, what happened?" Treecko panted as she reached her friend. "I shouldn't have have let Cacnea egg me on like that, but, what I said was true," Erin said. Treecko nodded, "I know, I believe you. It's hard to wrap my head, but I know that you wouldn't lie," she said. Erin smiled softly, "Thanks, Treecko," he said. Treecko smiled, and nodded. "You're welcome," she said.
Malamar chuckled lightly as he hovered towards them. "Well, it seems like I always wonder into you two," he said. "Mr. Malamar! How's Chimchar?" Treecko asked concerned. Malamar smiled softly at the Wood Gecko. "Calm yourself, my dear. Your brother is just fine, he's just doing a little bit of soul searching, and it is best not to disturb him," he reassured. Treecko sighed in relief. "Okay, I'm just glad that he's okay," she said.
The Overturn Pokemon nodded, "Well, I have gotten what I came here for. So I shall be taking my leave. Good day, you two," he said as he hovered away. Treecko waved goodbye to Malamar, and turned towards Erin. "Is something wrong, Erin?" she asked as she watched her friend look around the square.
Erin shook her head. "Nothing, we should check the Connection Orb," she said as she took out the item. "Yeah, good idea," Treecko agreed as she watched the map load up.
"Looks like a Psyduck needs help," Erin informed. Treecko nodded, "Okay, let's head out," she said. "Agreed," Erin agreed as the two walked out of the square.
~Timeskip~
"That was a good job. Psyduck was so happy when we found her," Erin said. "Yeah, that's one of the reasons that I love doing this," Treecko said. Erin smiled at her friend's enthusiasm as they reached Treecko's house.
Exploud watched out of the house with a worried expression on his face. "Evening, girls," he greeted. Treecko frowned, "Is something wrong, Papa?" she inquired.
Before Exploud could answer, Chimchar walked out of the house.Treecko's expression brightened, "Chimchar!" she cheered as she ran towards her brother.
Before she could hug Chimchar, Exploud gave her a stern look, and Treecko stopped in her tracks. "I think we SHOULD head inside. Chimchar, can you go get Malamar?" the Normal type requested. Chimchar merely nodded, and headed into the town's square. "Come in, you two," the Loud Noise Pokémon said as he moved aside for them to enter the house.
