"Who's ready to get turnt?!" I hear my friend Chris say as we enter the doors to the party of the year.
"Turnt isn't even a word." I say as I roll my eyes at him.
"That's why you're the writer." My twin Xander says as he cackles. I laugh along with them until we finally reach the doors and our laughs are drowned out.
"Hey!!! Glad you could come!" Xander's girlfriend, Regan, struggles to make herself heard over the blaring music. Her friend, Julia and Julia's boyfriend, Luke, stride over as well.
"So glad to see you guys!" Xander says with just a little bit of a scream. He kisses Regan on the cheek.
Chris exclaims, for the millionth time, "LET'S GET TURNT!!!" Luke mouths to me, what the hell does that mean? I reply, don't ask.
I look around Regan's house and see almost 100 other people each doing their own thing. Alicia and Gregory are on the couch watching a movie together, Taylor is playing beer pong with Dylan and Loch and I see a crowd of girls gossiping in a small corner. My senses are being overwhelmed by the smell of beer and cake while I feel as if I could be deaf.
"So this is a senior party." I say to Xander.
"Yeah, let's go have fun!!!" Xander and Chris say in harmony. They drag me along as they run at full speed with Regan, Julia and Luke behind us.
