Chapter 4

-Niall's POV-

"Niall, do you know where Julie is? She isn't in her room and I looked all over for her." Maddie said looking me dead in the eye. I shook my head no.

I got up and looked for her.

She isn't in the kitchen.

That's different Julie loves food just as much as me.

We checked her room, she still isn't there. We even asked my mum if she's seen her.

"No sweetie, don't you think maybe she's in the bathroom." My mum said.

We walked to the bathroom and I knocked on the door, no answer.

"Did you try calling her?" I asked usually she'll have her phone with her.

"Yeah, her phone is in her room." Maddie said.

That's just great.

This is all my fucking fault. I got her upset, I didn't let her finish what she was gonna say. She could've told me she liked me back but I had to snap at her.

She probably thinks I hate her now but that's impossible, never in a million years would I hate her. I really like her. I can't believe I was being such a dick to her. I haven't even been home for five hours and I already fucked up by upsetting her. I rarely get her upset. I'm very disappointed in myself.

"This is all my fault. I yelled at her and got her upset. I told her how I felt an–" I said before Maddie interrupted me.

"I know, she told me what you did. Maybe she went for a walk to think, Julie said she was also upset about her parents, she still really misses them. She does need some time away from this house. I wouldn't blame her, if our parents died and we had to live with Julie, I would want some fresh air too. Sometime alone, so I can think about everything that's happened." Maddie said sitting down on the couch. I sat down next to her nervously.

I'm really worried about her.

"Loosen up a bit would ya Niall. She'll come back, I promise lets just watch the telly and wait for her to come back." She said changing the channel from what I was watching earlier.

Maddie is right, she will come back this is her home now, well until she moves to London with me.

Maddie put on a movie, but I'm not paying any attention to it. I'm too worried about Julie. It's dark outside now and anything can happen.

I started to biting my nails, I do that when I'm nervous.

A few hours past by, Maddie fell asleep. I shook her trying to wake her up.

"Maddie, Maddie wake up." I said shaking her a little trying to get her to wake up.

She finally woke up.

"You fell asleep, go to your bed."

She got up and walked to her room.

I bounced my leg up and down. I can't stay still, I'm too nervous.

I started to rub my arms.

This is not okay. If it wasn't for me she would be here. Maddie said she probably went to get some fresh air but, she should be back by now.

I shouldn't think about bad things happening to her, I just can't.

Think positive, think positive, think positive.

Just then, the front door opened.

I immediately looked to see who was standing in the doorway, Julie.
