Chapter 24.

Snow

(Taylor's Perspective)

I wake up to see bright blue sky, I suddenly sit up and look around me. The tree's all around me are burned as the smell of smoke and burnt wood is strong.

I get up and look at myself. I don't see anything other new burns on my arms and legs. My other burns on my arms and legs still hurt but surprisingly I didn't get any more burns or even died in the fire.

I feel light headed and my lungs feel like they are on fire each breath I take. My lungs are definitely damaged after all of that smoke. I stand up and try to figure out where I should go now.

Should I go up higher on land? I'll probably be able to try to see where I am from that hight.

The air suddenly becomes colder as I see my breath from the cool air. I struggle to breathe as my breathing becomes more shallow. My arms and feels instantly get goosebumps and begin to feel numb. Snow begins to fall from the sky as small snowflakes hit my arms they instantly melt hitting my skin. The bottom of my feet feel like I'm stepping on nails each step I take. My whole body can't stop shivering.

I continue to walk in the snow as it becomes deeper as I continue up the mountain.

I may as well play in the show as I'm here?

I've officially gone insane.

I have nothing else to do. No one has found me yet and everyone probably thinks I'm dead by now.

I wonder if they found my car yet? Did they fine my divers's body? Are they even looking for me still? Did they give up? Do they miss me?

I lay down in the snow and begin to make snow angles. If I'm stuck here in the snow I might as well make snow angles and snowman's right? I move my arms and leg's some more and stand up. I look down at the snow and see my snow angle. I write my name in the snow next to it.

Where should I go now?

I should go back down the mountain and see if I could go anywhere on the other side of it?

I'll do that.

I continue to walk down the mountain to try to find my way back home.
