Finding Emma

Chapter 3

After hours and hours of waking they finally made camp. The few crew members that went along with them were asleep. Only Juliet and Hook were awake. They sat across from each other with the fire between them. The orange flames dancing across the wood as the sound of the sparks filled the night. The stats covered every inch of the dark blue sky and the biggest full moon Juliet as ever seen.

"How long have you known Sw--Emma?" Hook finally spoke up.

"Ummm" she thought. "We're both 27 so....23 years"

"You must know her very well"

"We're like sisters. We don't think of each other as friends...sisters"

He nodded. "Why did you make hiding places?"

"Just so if thinks got difficult or we wanted to get away or we needed to escape something or someone we had places were no one, not even the royal guards, could find us. It was a way of making memories for each realm" she responded.

"Since you know Emma so well, which realm would she most likely be in?"

"And that's exactly it. She won't be somewhere that people think she will be. She loves Port Royal, at least the last time I talked to her about realms, so she wouldn't go there. There's always a possibility she could be there and that's why we'll check but I doubt it plus you're lucky to have me" she smiled.

"Is that so?"

She tapped the tip of her nose a few times. "Wolf. So as long as you have something that belongs to her I can sniff her out. Plus I can easily win a fight"

He was almost speechless. "A-Aye...she....umm....she only took her weapons. So her umm--"

"I get what you're saying. You still have some of her belongings"

He just nodded in response.

"We'll continue this search tomorrow. For now, I'm going to sleep. I recommend you do as well. Goodnight Captain"

"Hook" he corrected. "And goodnight Miss--"

"Juliet" she corrected right back. She smiled as she went into the tent and laid down falling asleep the second she closed her eyes.
