THE NEXT DAY
Hook awoke to the sound of something hitting the wall a few rooms down. He got up pig his shoes on, shirt, and vest. He walked out of his room but not before seeing that it was 1am. Who the bloody hell is awake? He thought and kept following the noise, after walking a few door down he heard it in the training room and found Emma throwing daggers at the wall but her aim was off. But what do you expect? She's weak and just got back from the dead.
He walked over to her, stood behind her, and put his hand over hers before she threw it. He felt her jump by his touch which made him grin. "Don't let the dagger control you, you control it" and they both threw it landing on the bullseye.
His hand still on hers. She looked over her shoulder to see his face. She could tell he just woke up. Chills went down her spine. "Thanks" she said softly.
He smiled with a slight nod. He took his hand off hers and walked over to the wall to put more daggers on the table. "I have a few questions"
"Of course you do. Ask away"
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
She picked up a dagger and slid her fingers over the blade. "Neck is okay. Still a little shook up that I died but here I am with no heartbeat"
"Do you know how you came back?"
She shook her head. "No, I just remember seeing your face then everything went black. I felt cold for what felt like years and then I woke up and there was Blackbeard" she threw the dagger and it landed to the side of the target.
"Why are awake?"
"That I'm aware of, Killian. I'm still the same me. You know I can never sleep"
"That's not all of it" he walked closest to her.
"I uh..." He kept getting closer. She walked backwards until she hit a wall. His hands held Emma's wrist. "Killian I.."
"Wait" he took a few steps back. "Do you think I'm trying to make a move? Swan, after everything that's happened to you recently I'd never do that"
"Then what was--"
"What if you were pinned? How would you get out of it?" He asked making his point.
"Oh, I-I'm" she chuckled. "I'm sorry" she said awkwardly.
"Don't be, it's a simple misunderstanding. Now, let's get back to work" he said and that's what they did for the next couple hours.
