Finding Emma

Chapter 15

KILLIANS P.O.V.
Hook, Elizabeth, Turner, Sparrow, and three other crew members sat around a table with a map laid across it. They had pinpointed where Blackbeard has recently been spotted.

"Recently he's been spotted a lot by Tortuga and Port Royal" Turner states what they already knew.

"If he wants to be found then that's were he'll be. What if he doesn't want to be? That's a lot of ocean to cover and he can, and mostly likely will be, moving around a lot. So what then?"

"Let's check the areas near where he is. Take sick bastard may want a fight and we'll bring it to him" Hook stated.

The crew members nodded as they left to direct the ship to go near Tortuga. They left Hook and Elizabeth down in the training room. Hook was running his fingers through his hair when Elizabeth spoke up. "Hook, he'll pay for what he did. But right now you need to get Emma out of your head. Yes, we are doing this for her but you need to start moving on" she said gently.

"No!" He shouted slamming his fists on the table. He's lately been wearing the chain around his wrist to give him his hand back. "She is--was" he corrected. "She was too important. It look me over a century to get over Milah. I felt more strongly about Emma, that pain of not having her will always follow me. There's no one else in the world that can replace her...or someone that makes me want to move on and open up again. And that's exactly it! I've opened up to those closest to me and what happens?! They die! Right in my arms! Milah had her heart crushed by the crocodile as she said I love you and then died. Emma" he took a deep breath. "Her heart was crushed by Blackbeard! The man I've hated since my father sold me to him lifetimes ago! He killed her and Emma's last words were last words were I'm sorry! They both slipped right though my fingertips and there was nothing, NOTHING I could do about it!" He shouted finishing.

"Hook, I know this is hard. I understand. But you also need to think; what would Emma want you to do? If she was here, what would she say?" Elizabeth gave a small smile as she got up and left leaving Hook alone.

He was going into this battle blind. No attack plan. Just kill Blackbeard. That was it. Hopefully, this won't get him killed either. At least I'd see Emma. He thought if he didn't make it out of this alive. To him, that didn't sound to bad.
