Scott
My head was spinning from all the head slamming from that lizard lady thing at the coffeehouse. I opened my eyes to catch a glimpse of what was happening, because I felt small hands around me, struggling to pull me forward. It was Maya. I was so happy to see her, not as injured as I thought.
"Oh good you're awake," Maya breathed, as she looked over to someone in front of us.
"Jax we there yet!?" She cried, trying to readjust so my arm was wrapped around her shoulder and she hoisted me up and walked. A male voice answered back, "Just a few more steps!"
Who was that?
The door opened and I could see faces of our friends who was waiting for us. Stiles and Allison ran up to help Maya and grabbed my arms to the metal table. Derek was already laying down on it. My vision started to clear, so that was getting good.
"Jax, why don't you just give them ambrosia, like you gave me?" Maya's voice echoed in my mind.
The one named Jax replied, "Are you kidding? Maya, I know that these guys are supernatural, but ambrosia are food of the gods if you haven't noticed. If consumed by a mortal or just about anyone who's not a god or demigod, they're bodies would literally burn up because it's too powerful for them." God this guy can be a know-it-all. "Why don't you use your healing powers and help them heal, daughter of Apollo, god of healing." He noted sarcastically as Stiles held a snicker.
All Maya did was made a sour face. "Because, Elvis, I don't know how to do that."
"You just gotta concentrate."
Maya hesitated, before saying, "Fine," and walked towards me. She closed her eyes and held my hand, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration. In a hushed voice, she sang something I didn't understand, but I knew it had to be Ancient Greek.
As she quietly sang, I can feel my body getting better, my vision completely cleared and I can stand up by myself. She stopped and snapped her eyes open, removing her hand away from mine.
"Thanks," I smiled gratefully, standing up to give a meaningful hug to Maya.
"Hate to break the moment," Stiles glared at Allison and Lydia, "But mind doing the same for Derek?"She nodded, and placed her hand just above his wounded chest. My werewolf senses can hear Maya sing beautifully and quietly, the slashed on Derek's chest closing. I looked over to Isaac to make sure he was okay, and he did seem better. Actually better condition than I was.
"Okay," Jax said, "Enough of healy healy time. Now, lemme introduce myself. I'm Jax," he held his hand up for anyone to high five it. "No one?" He asked. Instead of lowering it down, he high high fived himself and continued, "Okay, well I'm Jax, son of Hermes." He had sandy Elvis inspired hair and blue eyes. He wore a leather jacket like Derek's...or like the one Stiles was wearing?
"So you're a demigod...like Maya?" Riley asked. She was holding an ice pack onto Isaac's head, for some reason I don't know.
"Well, men and women of Olympus sometimes doesn't know how to keep their pants on." Jax smirked as Stiles and Maya gave out a chuckle.
"So you're dad is like, the trickster God?" Allison asked. She was fixing her crossbow that the dracaena had rudely tossed aside.
"Messenger, Traveling, Thieves, Mischief, basically anything on the road my dad's a god of," Jax smirked.
When he mentions thieves, my hand found its way to my back pocket where I keep my wallet, and I found an empty space.
"Hey!" I whined, Jax laughing as he tossed my wallet towards me.
