Chapter 5

I apologise for not updating in awhile and I apologise for not replying to comments. It is becoming quite rare for me to reply to comments but I want you all to know I do read them at times. After reading through some comments on this story I have decided to finally update and wish that it was worth the wait. Enjoy.

After taking a warm bath with Kaname Zero dressed the little pureblood in a light blue onesie. Zero dried the babies chocolate brown hair gently before discarding the towel on the floor and walking out of the room, holding the little pureblood close to him. Zero walked into the kitchen and with one hand grabbed the milk out from the fridge and grabbed the clean baby bottle out of the dishwasher. Zero then poured the milk into the baby bottle carefully before putting the bottle in the microwave and setting it to two minutes. 

Zero then walked into the living room and turned the tv on to a kids channel making Kaname happily giggle. Then the sound of two whistles from a train made Kaname perk up in Zero's arms. "Two Two!" Kaname said cutely and pointed to the screen to see a blue tank engine. "Two two!" Kaname said again and began bouncing in Zero's arms excitedly. 

"So I guess you like Thomas the tank engine." Zero said as he looked at the over happy baby pureblood. The sound of a ding snapped Zero out of his daze as he walked back into the kitchen and took the warm milk out of the microwave and put it on the bench. Zero then put the lid on the top and tightened it before handing it to Kaname and walking into the living room and sitting on the couch. "Two two!" Kaname said before drinking his milk. 

Kaname and Zero seemed to watch the tank engine for hours or thats how Zero felt. It had only been 15 minutes but it felt like forever!

Zero then felt Kaname's head droop and he looked down to see the baby pureblood was asleep. Zero chuckled before standing up and heading back to the room. Once he was in there he gently put the sleeping baby into his crib and tucked the covers over his small body gently. Kaname began to stir a bit as he was trying to look for the warmth the Zero gave off. Zero began to hum a melody making the pureblood baby stop moving and calm down. Once Zero was certain the pureblood was asleep he pecked the babies head and then went into his own bed to rest. 

As Zero was deep in sleep the window creaked open allowing some cold night air into the room. Slowly the shadow moved across the room and then stood over the crib. Quietly the shadow picked up the sleeping baby and gently placed a note on Zero's bedside table before vanishing.
