Haruki

I walked through the wide hallways of the castle thinking about Seto's request. Was it even a request or was it a command?

After hearing that Miggy's description, I just can't do it. She created him as someone perfect, and although I am a self-proclaimed perfect man, I know I am not.

Haruki were you considering that? Did you think of accepting the request?

No. Definitely not. Or maybe I did. But yeah, this is my final decision. I am not going to be a replica of her Miggy no matter what.

Suddenly, a maid appeared before me. “Sir, pinadala ho ako ni Ma'am Chiharu para dalhin kayo sa ballroom.”

“Alam ko kung nasaan, salamat nalang.” I said as politely as possible. However, she looked intimidated when I said that. What the hell.

“P-pero—”

“I know where it is, and because I do, I do not want to depend on you. I also have to do things my way.” I said bluntly—and politely as much as possible.

She looked more intimidated which made me conscious. I tried my best to be polite, what's wrong?!

Tumango lang siya at nagmadali nang umalis. I followed her figure with my eyes and saw her enter a room. Damn, am I that intimidating? I mean, people in my neighborhood were intimidated by me before.

I just shrugged and made my way to the ballroom. Sinalubong naman agad ako ni Kosuke na nakahawak sa isang relo, hand wind clock ata yung tawag dun.

“We called for you seven minutes ago and was expecting for your arrival three minutes after we called for you, but you have exceeded the time. Plus, the maid that Chiharu has sent to pick you up is not around. What do you think are you doing?!” He nagged. This man is even more annoying than my mom. He nags like an old woman who is on her menopause stage.

“Just be thankful I came.” I said. “Or should I have not?”

He was supposed to nag at me more but Chiharu came and pushed him away as if he wasnt heavy.

“You're finally here.” She said while smiling at me.

“Yeah,” I replied with a straight face. “Why did you call for me anyway?” I was still talking with the old man.

Instead of receiving a reply, she just dragged me inside. I, then, saw the princess dancing with a man. I searched for Junpei but he was no where to be found. That brat seems to be gone, that's great. Kotori's in the corner reading a thick book.

“May ideya ka na ba kung ano ang gagawin mo?” Chiharu whispered.

“No.” I answered honestly.

Kosuke sighed after he was able to catch up. I got surprised when he pointed at the princess and then to me. “Isn't it obvious? You're going to have your dance lesson.”

Oh, right. Dance lessons. Well that's a piece of cake, even a lawyer can do that.

Wait.

“Dance lesson, you say?” I asked as the idea sinked in.

“Yes. There will surely be a ball sooner or later, and as the future prince, you will have to dance.” Chiharu explained.

“Are you serious?” I was furious, but I refused to change the tone of my voice. I remained calm.

They just nodded and pushed me further inside the room.

“Kaya mo na yan.” Chiharu mouthed.

I looked at her highness and the man after. The man was examining me from head to toe and was supposed to say something but Chiharu spoke before him.
