OPlan: Finding Mr. Right

Chapter 1: The start

Quiet. Alone. Mixed emotions. Here at the beach. Nag-iisa. Nagbabasa ng novel. Yun lang naman parati kong ginagawa. Yun lang naman ang nagpapasaya sa akin.

" Hoy nerd! Sagutin mo to"

I looked at my phone and saw Liana's number. Sinagot ko ang tawag.

"Klee!!!!! Magkikita na ulit tayo! Excited ka na ba? Ako excited na excited na",ani ni Liana.

"Lia? Ha? Diba nasa Canada ka? 'Bat naman tayo magkikita eh nasa Pilipinas lang ako", tanong ko.

"Eh Klee, nag-usap na kami ni Papa at sabi niya na babalik raw kami diyan sa Pilipinas! Dun na daw ako mag-aaral dahil daw dun siya na assign sa work niya",sabi niya.

"Ah,ganon ba. Kailan naman flight mo?",tanong ko.

"Bukas na bukas. Bumili na kasi ng ticket si Papa para mas maaga daw"

"Ah,so bukas ka dadating dito?"

"Hindi ata eh. Kasi may pupuntahan pa kami"

"Ah,text mo lang ako para masundo kita"

"K Klee. Byeeeee"

"Bye"

Yun si Liana. Liana Marie F. Castaneda. And yes,rich sila. She's my only friend sa school. Kung nerd nga naman. Maganda,sexy at friendly siya. We've been best friends since 8 years old kami.

I stood up and walked patungo sa bahay namin. I don't feel like riding a "jeep".

When I opened the door of our house,no one was there. I remembered that mom went to work. Palagi naman siyang busy eh.

I went to the bathroom and took a long bath. A long bath would be nice. In that way, I can think.

After taking a long bath. I decided to go to the mall to buy stuff for the first day of school tomorrow. So I went to my room and looked for my long sleeves and pants.

I locked the door of my room and our house then waited for a taxi.

After 15 minutes of waiting,FINALLY a taxi. I looked at the taxi and saw a couple in it with the driver. Wew paasa. Hindi lang pala sa love at Miss Universe ang may mga PAASA, pati na rin pala sa paghintay ng taxi.

Na shock nalang ako at may isang sasakyan na huminto eh wala namang red light tapos private car pa.

"Uy,Kleeana",joyfully said.

Tumingin ako sa pinto at nakita ko si Gina. Yung ka co-worker ni Mama.

"Uy Ate"

"Nahiya naman ako sa ate. Wag ka nang mag ate. 'San ka pupunta?"

"Ay sa Mall lang,bibili ng mga school supplies"

"Ah sakay ka nalang. Baka maabutan ka pa ng gabi"

"Ah 'wag na"

"Sige na",sabi niya habang nakangiti.

Sumakay nalang ako at para libre na rin pamasahe.

~~Fast forward~~

"Ay Salamat ah sa libreng sakay",sabi ko.

"Walang anuman. Oh sige bye",sagot niya.

Nung nasa loob na ako ng Mall ay diretso akong pumunta ng School Supplies na store. Nagutom ako at pumunta sa Food center para kumain. Pauwi na sana ako,but this store caught my attention. Guess what store? A BOOK STORE! Oh my fave of all stores!

I went in to find some cool novels. I just saw this book. MONTELLO HIGH: SCHOOL OF GANGSTERS  by Sheila May Familaran. This looks cool. I still have enough money to buy for that book. Well..... Hm...

I BOUGHT THE BOOK! It caught my attention. As I was walking patungo sa exit,I saw this familiar guy sa escalator. WHAT THE! Is that! Jake! WITH A GIRL!

As soon as I saw him,my heart was like torn into pieces. I just stared at them and I think I caught their attention. I then realized that tears were falling from my eyes. I CAUGHT EVERYONES ATTENTION! I saw them looking at me. Thinking that I am a loser. I looked around and saw a lot of people surrounding me. I turned at their backs and tried to escape from the awkward scenario.

"KLEE! Wait!"

That voice. I didn't shook,and just ran from there.

I went out the mall and went to the Waiting area of taxis. As soon as I saw a vacant taxi,I directly went inside and slammed the door.

I went out of the taxi and went inside our house. I saw my mom,cooking dinner.

"Anong nangyari sa iyo?",tanong ni Nanay.

"Wala ma,stress lang"

"Nak,alam kong may problema ka kaya sabihan mo na"

I just went up stairs. To my room and landed on my bed.

My mom went to my room.

"Nak,bakit ka ba umiiyak?"

"Wala lang to ma"

"Anong wala? Eh umiiyak ka nga"

"Wala nga diba ma? Kaya wala"

"Oh sige. Bahala ka nga diyan. Kakain na tayo"

"Wala akong gana"

"Ha! Ikaw? Walang gana? Sure ka? Wow ah! Nabaguhan ako dun"

"Mama naman eh! Umalis ka nga dito!",sabay pagsirado ng pinto.

I landed on my bed AGAIN.

Hay nako. Pasok na pala bukas. Stress na naman. PALAGI pala. Ako nga pala si Kleeana. Kleeana Mia T. Rosales. Ang nerd na miserable ang buhay. Good luck nalang sa akin bukas!
