Be Careful Out There

Chapter 14

"What the hell is a kanima?" I ask.

"Well... Uh... It's just this killing machine that murders everyone you think of hurting who is in fact, your boyfriend." Stiles blurts.

"He's not my boyfriend.... Yet." I point out.

"It-it- doesn't make any sense! A kanima is a mutation from the wolf-gene. It's a... Lizard thing! Isaac is a wolf!" Derek stutters

"Well, anything can happen. People think werewolves don't exist, but here we are." Peter speaks out.

"This... Can't be! I know Isaac, he wouldn't kill innocent people." I say.

"Innocent... The kanima kills murderers. They aren't exactly innocent, even if they didn't kill anyone." Stiles realizes.

"Guys, I didn't think about killing anyone! It can't be Isaac. He wouldn't do that!" I exclaim.

"Well maybe Isaac doesn't know what he's doing!" Peter spats.

"Well MAYBE we should find him before he kills another person!" Derek yells. I get a phone call.

"Isaac?" I answer.

"Ty? Where the hell are you? I'm worried sick!" He exclaims.

"You're worried sick? I'M worried sick. You just left! What happened?"

"I-I don't know. I came back and you were gone."

"I'll be there soon." I lie and hang up. "Well it looks like he's back to himself."

"Do you know if be killed someone?" Stiles asks.

"Yes, Stiles, he was murdering someone while I was on the phone with him." I say sarcastically. Stiles throws his hands up.

"Well sorry for asking!"

"We need to watch Isaac at all times. We need to find a way to stop him." Derek says. I'm still not going to believe that it is Isaac. It can't be.

I don't get back to Scott's until about 1 am, 4 hours after the call from Isaac, and he isn't there. I start panicking. Where could he be? I begin to dial his number on my phone, but he comes walking in the door. I run up and hug him. "I was so worried." I whisper. I smell alcohol on him as he cocks an eyebrow.

"Where have you been? I went looking for you but I ended up at a club. I think it was a gay club." He says with a slurred voice. "No, 'cause there was a girl I grinded with and she tried to take me home with her, but I says 'NO. I'm saving this D for someone else'." He dips his head down and nudges mine to the side as he roughly kisses my neck.

"Isaac, your drunk." I point out as I push him away. I turn to Scott. "What's the fastest way to sober him up?"

"No, try to get him to admit that he's the one killing people." He suggests.

"It's not him." I almost growl. I help Isaac over to the couch. "How did you end up at the club, Issac?" He just shrugs. My guess is he got drunk before he went to the club. Where would he get the liquor from? Stiles sits on the other side of Isaac.

"Have you been murdering people?" He asks.

"Have YOU been murdering people?" Isaac echoes, his voice still slurred.

"Well... Do you have a desire to kill anybody? You know... Like... Slit their throat and leave them to bleed to death kind of kill?" Stiles questions.

"The only think I have a desire to kill is Ty's pus-" I abruptly put my hand over his mouth and he licks it. I look over at Scott.

"He's not going to say anything." I tell him. I decide to leave Isaac to Scott and go home. Instead of entering through my door and getting in trouble with my dad, I do what Isaac did during the night of the full moon and climb through my own window. After getting ready, I fall asleep.

I get very little sleep, my guess is 20 minutes, and wake up when I feel someone cower over me.

"What do you need, Isaac?" I ask sleepily. He has both hands on either sides near my shoulders and his knees are bent by mine. He starts to softly kiss my neck. I'm too tired to reject it. Eventually, he trails kisses down my chest, and I get butterflies. This happens for awhile, and then he just suddenly leaves. After that, I can't sleep. He just stays in my mind. I get chills every time I'm near him. When he wraps his arm around me, when he holds my hand, when he kisses my neck, even when he's smiling at me. I've never felt this about anyone.
