Eddie's POV

"Where are you hiding?" I kept hearing him say as I heard his footsteps coming closer and closer. The door closed behind him and the keys jingling about was the last that we heard.

"I think that we are in the clear" Nina said grasping hold of her locket and slowly opening the door to check if Dan was anywhere to be seen.

"All clear" She said as we all filed out one after the other from the hidden door.

"I think that we should call it a night" Fabian said "It's getting far too risky and we don't want Dan on our case again"

He said as he started walking away from us shortly followed by the others.

"Wait" I said "What about the box?"

"Wait until tomorrow then we can get it, its getting too late Eddie" Joy said, yawning whilst opening the door and into her old bedroom for a rest.

----- The following day ----

Alfie's POV

I was up first thing this morning with the sound of Amber straightening her hair for breakfast. I was cool with it but must she do it at 5 in the morning. It gave me a bit more time to explore Creepy Towers again though. Everything is so desolate and deserted at that time in a morning.

I did notice that the door to the cellar was wide open, my curiosity got the better of me and I went downstairs. I scanned for any clues but nothing and besides I couldn't see anything anyways. It was pitch black. Except for one thing. A dusty old book was left open on a page.

I read it aloud in my head "The elixir of life" Not Dan as well with this whole elixir thing!

I carried on reading, " There are several ways to get the elixir of life, one by making it, one by finding it in a tomb in Egypt and one by a sacrifice"

"A sacrifice?" I said aloud without thinking

"The final way of gaining the elixir of life is to give a sacrifice to the Gods who will pour down the elixir from the sky in gratitude. There must be two sacrifices, one of purity and one of evil. When given to the Gods the sacrifices will..."

"Who left the door open?" I heard Trudy say before I could finish reading.

I heard her footsteps come down the cellar stairs. I hid. She help a pan in her hands in case it was an intruder.

She must have seen my dressing gown and instantly knew it was me.

"Alfred Lewis. What on Earth are you doing down here at this time in a morning?" She asked

I turned around slowly and pretended to sleep walk into her.

"Trudes, What am I doing in the cellar?" I said to her.

"You must have been sleep walking lovie, come with me. I'm just about to cook everyone some breakfast. Would you like to help Alfie?"

"YES" I jumped at the idea of it and she walked me out of the cellar and into the kitchen. She locked the door as I went to go and get dressed in my room. I had gotten dressed and walked out when I heard a strange movement which seemed to be coming from the cellar. I pearched my ear up against the wall and wondered until Trudy interrupted me.

There is something not right going on and I needed to tell the others. Sibuna is definatly on!
