"Grab her!"
"Don't let her get away!"

Your eyes widened as you heard the yells. Quickly turning around you jumped out the same window Bunny had tumbled out of just moments ago. The three hands that reached for you missed you by only a hair and you free-fell down to the snow covered ground. You saw Jack and Bunny standing beneath you. There were two possible outcomes now. Either you fell on top of both of them and your escape would be put to a stop or you would think of something, in the short amount of time you had, to get away from them.

"Jack! Watch out!" you cried out, folding your hands in front of your face and clenched your eyes shut as you braced for impact.
Jack looked up, his eyes widening in shock and he immediately jumped up. He caught you mid-air and turned, crashing to the ground with you on top so he broke your fall. Gritting his teeth, he let out a pained groan as he laid in the snow.
You cracked your eyes open and looked up. You weren't dead. You weren't a bloody mess on the ground. Note to self: Don't jump out windows without a Jack nearby.
You sighed in relief and in that moment you forgot you were in the middle of escaping the guardians. Not that you weren't quickly reminded of that.
"Jack! Good. You caught the girl." North called out as he and the others came running up to Jack and Bunny. You blinked a bit and immediately got up from Jack, trying to run away again, but Bunny was faster and got a hold of you.
He slung you over his shoulder. "That aint happenin', Sheila"
"Wha- Hey! Let me go!" you cried out and struggled in his hold, hitting his back. Bunny winced only slightly at the hits and scowled. "Oi! Stop that!"
"Then let me go, you sorry excuse for a kangaroo!"
"I aint no kangaroo!"
"Oh yeah, I forgot. You're a chicken 'cause you lay painted eggs."
"I'll have you know that I-"
"Enough!!" Tooth shrieked, fluffing her feathers angrily. "You two stop bickering and you put her somewhere she can't escape from."
Bunny looked at her and rolled his eyes, grumbling as he walked back into the toy factory.

They had to be kidding. Really? /This/ was supposed to keep you from escaping?
"Are you guys even sane up in those brains of yours? A child's play house??"
That's right. You were put in a play house. Those miniature copies of real houses for children to play pretend in.
You looked out the little window at the guardians who looked down at you. North laughed and shrugged. "I don't have prison. You're first prisoner ever so this is solution."
You sighed deeply and sat against the wall of the house. "So you're just going to keep me here?"
"For the time being, yes. Until we know what happened to you." Tooth answered carefully as she kneeled down to look through that little window at you. Rolling your eyes you looked back at her. "Nothing happened. I'm just finally my true self now."
Tooth looked at you sceptically with a hint of worry in her eyes. She sighed and stood up, turning to the others as she saw that there was no way of trying to reason with you. "Let's just leave her for a while. You too, Jack."
Jack barely even reacted, leaning on his staff as he looked a bit distant. "Yeah. Alright."
You glanced at them from the corner of your eye as they all walked away. With a sigh you rested your head back against the wooden wall of the play house, staring up at the ceiling.
Well, so far the only problem was you being stuck on the North Pole while Mary had specifically told you not to get caught. Jack was down with a severe fever, like Mary had told you. Bunny is only more sceptical of you, tooth acted more like a worried, overworked mother and Sandy and North.. you honestly couldn't read them well.
You could tell that Jack was questioning things. He is advised by everyone to stay away from you yet he still didn't want you to leave and did he save you from falling to your death on the cold, frozen ground. Whether the last thing was on impulse or not, you wouldn't know, but it meant that the façade you had put on when you were in his room had worked. You had gotten him confused, in a sort of battle with what his mind was telling him and what others were telling him. And that is just what you were ordered to do. Make him doubt. Set him up against the others.

"...(f/n).."

You blinked a bit at hearing your name being called. Looking out the tiny window you saw Jack walking up to you, a bit shaky on his feet because of the fever. Tooth hadn't seen him slip away? Probably not.
He sat by the window of the play house, his back resting against the wall. "... Do you know what they told me?"
You leaned against the same wall as him on the inside. "That you had to stay away from me. An order you're ignoring right now."
"I was never one to follow orders." He said, twirling his staff in his hands as he looked at it without any expression. He doubted if you even knew what you were doing to him, or at least, what the others said you were doing to him.
As he stopped twirling the staff and held it tightly, he spoke up again. "The kangaroo said that you were making me turn back. Turning human again."

You looked forward again and sighed. "What is wrong with that? You'll loose your cool powers. What about it?"

Mary had told you that that is what they would need you for. They needed you because you were able to turn them human again. And without they're powers they wouldn't be the guardians anymore. That is what she told you and you were certain she wouldn't lie about that. ... Yeah. Fairly certain.

" 'so what?' ?" Jack repeated you with a questioning tone. Did you know that there was more to it than his powers disappearing? If you did, you really didn't seem to care that he would... die.
"(F/n), do you..." He stopped himself, holding his staff tighter.
You looked over at the window as you felt the wall you were leaning against get colder. That must've been Jack's doing. "Do I what?"
Jack sighed and glanced at the window as well, but wasn't able to see you, nor could you see him.
"If I turn human again, I'll die. " the winter spirit said. "I drowned before I was Jack Frost. I will be dead if I turn back"

Your eyes widened slightly at hearing his reply. He would die? Mary hadn't mentioned any of that. She had only told you that the guardians would become powerless and wouldn't be able anymore to be the guardians- .... You finally realized what she had actually meant by that. They really wouldn't be able to, because they wouldn't even be alive anymore. She had told you that every myth or legend had done a particular thing that stood symbol for them at their death. Like with Jack. How could you have been so stupid?! You were not about to kill anyone!

Your silence wasn't really reassuring for Jack. He started to think that you really wouldn't care if he or any of the guardians died.
Frost started to creep up the walls of the tiny play house as he gritted his teeth. Only now did it dawn upon him that you really were gone. You weren't the same person he had met in the park anymore. The person he had gone ice skating with or the one who didn't even need to think to safe little Sophie.
He stood again, using his staff as support. "... I should've listened to them."

You were pulled out of your thoughts as he said that and you surprised yourself as you exclaimed the next thing. "W-Wait! I never knew!"
And with a stutter as well. How pathetic could you get.
Jack was as surprised as you were and looked back over his shoulder. "You.. didn't?"
You moved over so you could look out the window at him and your eyes seemed to flicker from glowing to their normal (e/c) colour for a second. "N-No! Why would I ever intend to kill?  I'm not a monster!"
Jack frowned slightly, not trusting your word anymore as you had fooled him before. "You hated me, right? You said it yourself."
"I..." You paused slightly, as if something was keeping you from saying the words. "I do, but that is no reason for me to kill you. I would-" your eye twitched a bit. "-rather torture you longe- no! I would not!"
Jack looked at you, rather confused. You were saying things and then denying them. " ..(f/n)?"
You looked at him again. "Jack, they're using me for- killing all the guardia- no! Shut up! I won- just give in!" You grabbed your head, clutching your hair, as if that would help calming the battle that was going on in your head. Every time you seemed to go against yourself your eyes started flickering from glowing to normal.
Jack started to grow worried. "(F/n), what is wrong?"
You shook your head. "T-They did something to m- you know I'm the true you- you aren't!" You looked up at the winter spirit with pleading eyes. "J-Jack.. help me. " and after having said that, your eyes rolled back and you fell to the ground. The stress in your head had become too much to handle.
