Chapter 5

Avi's POV

We were walking out the door and Kirstie gasped. She was face to face with Jeremy. "Hello, Mrs. Malondono"
"Why are you here?"
"I'm sorry about what I said. I still need you" Jeremy said
"Uh, no. I have Avi now."
"Oh. Well, with that, I guess I'll wish you goodbye."

We went back to the house and it was about 7:00, so Scott and Mitch were watching Frozen for the thousandth time, Kev was playing Beyonce. I was sitting next to Kirst and we were watching Maleficent. Honestly, I love that movie. Kirst got a text from a blocked caller. She let me read them.
"I will find you. Don't try to escape me. Watch your back."

She was shaking so bad. I hugged her and told her that I Would protect her. She stopped shaking, it started storming. The power went out and she screamed. We turned on a handheld radio and listened. Scott went to get a lantern and Kirst, Kevin, Mitch, and I were listening to the radio.
"This just in, we have reports of a tornado forming in the areas of........"
The reporter droned on and he said our location. Kirstie was scared out of her mind and me and Mitch surrounded her in a group hug. Avi, Mitchie, I'm scared!"
"We know, Kirst. The storm will be over soon. Scott and Kev are trying to fix the power."
We herd the roaring of the storm outside and lightning struck right outside the window. The entire house was illuminated, so us 3 decided to find Kev and Scott.
