Avi's POV
"Mitchie! Avi! Look behind you!"
We turned around and saw Jeremy behind us with a knife. He had Kev handcuffed with a rag around his mouth. I was crying now. Hu jumped at me and Kirst and he slashed her leg. She was wearing silky purple pajamas that were shorts and a tank top. I was crying and so was Mitch and Scott. Kevin was struggling, but he found a rock behind him that used to be a book end and broke the ropes with it. He threw the rock at the back of Jeremy's head and it knocked him out. I ran over to Kristie and put a wet paper towel on her leg. Scott called the cops and Mitch cried into Scott's shoulder. We heard sirens outside, but they didn't sound like police sirens or other emergency services. We turned on the radio again and the tornado was less than a mile away from us. Kirstie was fine and she started shaking again. We ran to the basement and we all crowded around her. Thunder roared and we herd the storm pass.
