After Ash and the Wright's got to my house I got them all settled in the guest room. Mr. and Mrs. Wright were staying in the guest room. And we we're all going to be sleeping in my room. Dakota decided to run back to his house and get his duffle bag and backpack. He needed clothes for tomorrow for our last day of school since Thanksgiving Break starts when we get out. He wanted to spend the night and much time as possible with Ash since she was only in town for the holiday. Plus she's our BFF. Well, one of many.

As Dakota had left to go and get his stuff for the week I figured he was going to be here a while and that means I get to be with him for a full week under the same roof. My grandmother didn't mind that he was staying. He was always part of our family. Hell I didn't even mind. I get to be with him the whole week. I enjoy his presence around me; him being with me puts me in a state of peace. As if all wars and world issues had stopped.

When my grandmother and the adults talked for a while agreeing what to eat, Ash and I were on the couch talking stuff, mostly girly stuff. They decided to get Chinese food that I've been craving on forever, thankfully. I thought they would have settled for pizza. I was dying to eat some Chinese food. Now that I think of it pizza sounds good right about now. I could eat an entire pie. When everyone was me and Ash were in the living room talking about her new place up in Virginia.

Ash told me about all the friends she made at her new school. She said that all of her teachers are nice except for her science teacher that yells at the class a lot and had an easy temper. Apparently you can never find the perfect set of teachers for the school year, there's always something wrong with a teacher. We continued to talk for another 10 minutes and then Dakota walked into the door. I think I should start locking the front door. As he walked to through the house he placed his backpack and duffle bag near the corner table in the living that one of our lamps was sitting on. He plopped himself down on the couch next to me. Ash was on across from us sitting at the nice sage comfy couch.

"So Dakota, how's life here with so many changes?" She said getting relaxed.

"It's okay. A lot of people moved from middle school to other places. Ever misses you. Even I do." He said shyly.

I looked at him confused. There's no way he can like her. I mean, she is pretty and all, but she can't have him! I want Dakota. I want to be with him and everything there is to do in life. Plus she has a boyfriend.

"Aw that's so sweet. I missed you all!" She said getting up and sitting between us, grabbing us by our heads for a hug. I think I melted a little when I looked up at Dakota and noticed how close his cute and adorable face was to mine.

"So Brad, what have you been doing around here lately?" She said casually.

"Nothing much, I got paintballing a lot more than I used too. We go to this big court where we practice. I want to go to the national tournament for it though. It's played in an original made football stadium. Not just on the field, but we can go in the stands and everywhere." I said nonchalantly.

"It's massive!" Dakota said interrupting.

"Oh really? How big is it?" She asked.

"It's really big." I said laughing a little in the floor as she pushed me off my own couch. "I'm kidding, well not about size... anyway jokes aside!

"That's cool I guess. I tried out for cheerleading at my old school." She said.

"Nice, did you make the team Ash?" Dak said with curiosity.

"Yes I did, it was very hard though. I was going up with against about 50 other girls." She said joy and relief at the end.

"I want to a cheerleader..." I mumbled under my breath?
