Chapter 4

Victoria's Pov

I'm woken by a stream of sunlight coming from the cream colored curtains that cover the window doors. I sit up in the bed to stretch my arms and then I stand up so I can the stretch the rest of my limbs. I notice a door next the closet and i go towards it to find its a fully stocked bathroom, I decide to take a shower since I don't know when or who is going to show me this place. Once I strip from the pajamas I had on and stepped into the shower which was marble on three sides and the floor with a glass door. It felt good to have the warm water run down my back and help relax my muscles from the stress of what happened yesterday. I notice that there is some strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner. I lather my hair with both and rinse them out.

Once I wash my body and stay in for another few minutes not ready to face these people that I barely know. I get out and wrap one of the blue towels around my body and walk out to the room, but once I enter I let out a small shriek. "Oh! Sorry, we knocked but I guess you didn't hear us." Liam said. "Uh, yea. So what can I help you with?" I asked while pulling the towel tighter around my wet body. "Well Louis sent us to give you the tour of the castle." Ashton said. "Ok. Can I get dressed first then?" "Oh, yea we will just wait outside the door then." Liam said and they both left. I looked in the dresser to find underwear and bra's, oddly enough they were my size. I chose a cream set that had some lace to it. Once I had that on I walked over to the closet and open it to find nothing but dresses. That would be ok if I actually liked wear dresses for everyday. I looked through the rack of dresses until I found one that was the least casual of them all. The dress was a burgundy pink with quarter sleeves. At the bottom I found a row of vans, I found a pair of red vans and put them on once I had some socks on.

Once I was dressed and had my hair dried, went the door and opened it to see Liam and Ashton leaning against the wall opposite of my room. "Alright, I'm ready." I said to them and waited for them to lead the way. Maybe I can get them to explain more about Louis this curse. "So this hall is just mainly bedrooms, in fact all of our rooms are in this hall My room is the one to the left of your room and Ashton's is on the right of yours. Harry's is down a little on the other side of the hall towards the right and next to his is Niall's and Zayn's across the hall from theirs. Luke is across the hall from my room, Calum's is across the hall from Ashton's and Mikey's is the first on the right coming into the hall." Liam pointed out everyone's room. "Where's Louis's room?" I ask out of curiosity. "His room is in the west wing." Ashton said. "Can I go to the west wing?" "No, Louis doesn't allow anyone in the west wing. If we go there we will be punished maybe worse." Liam spoke up.

" Ok so here is the dining room where we ate last night and through that door is the kitchen." Aston pointed out the door across the room. Liam and Ashton have showed me the entire layout of the castle with the exception of the west wing and a couple rooms that Louis said he would show me. I wonder what is the rooms. Louis was quiet the whole dinner except for when he said it was getting late. "Now to the outside, even though its not much." Liam said as he led the three of us outside through the double doors in the dining room. Once we stepped outside I gasped. Its was even more beautiful then what I saw last night. "It's beautiful." I said. "We all take a share in keeping it nice. " Ashton said. There is the lake and then there's a few weeping willow trees that I can tell are going to be my favorite places to read and to be by myself. there are a few out buildings that are made of stone.

We went back inside the foyer to see Louis standing there with his arms crossed. "Ok, guys I'll take her from here." With that Liam and Ashton left before I got the chance to ask them about Louis. "The castle is very beautiful." I said timidly. Louis just nodded while he stared at me. His piercing crystal blue eyes looked from my head to my van cladded feet back up to my eyes. "Your not a dress type of girl are you?" is the first thing he says. "Uh, not really. I prefer jeans and t shirts, but I'll make do." "I'll have Zayn go into the village to get you some more comfortable clothes then." "No, its ok." "It's to late I already sent him." "Oh ok, thank you then." An awkward silence came over us, at least it was awkward for me with Louis just watching me.

"Well I just wanted to explain a few things to you. So follow me and we will go to my office."Louis said as he headed to the right of the foyer and down a hall. He opened a door on the left to a room with a large desk made of cherry wood that had a brown leather chair behind it along with a book shelf filled with books and other things. There were two leather chairs in front of his desk. Louis took his seat behind his desk and then gestured for me to sit in one of the other chairs. Once I sat down Louis started talking. "So did they explain that the west wing is off limits to everyone?"

"Yes, but why?" I was a very curious person by nature.

"It just is, it's where my quarters are and I don't allow anyone there, got it?" Louis was stern about this subject so I just let it go for now anyway.

"Do you have any questions about anything?"

"Well Zayn said something yesterday about how you weren't always like this, what did he mean?"

"That's a question for another time. Anything else?"

"Well I noticed some weeping willows out by the lake is there any chance I could go out there sometimes?" I asked instead of pressing for an answer to my first question. "Yes, you may go out there anytime. But what would you do out there?"

"Well I was hoping I could get some books and read out there?"

"I'll see what I can do about that."

Louis's Pov

"I'll see what I can do about that." I said. I took a moment to just look at her. She was beautiful and from the moment I saw her in the tower I've been having these weird feelings, something I have never felt before. She looks a little scared of me and I want so bad to fix that. I know I will have to tell her about the curse but I don't want to scare her even more right now. Once she gets settled into her life here, I'll tell her. Even though I think she looks incredible in that dress, I can tell she's slightly uncomfortable, So I sent Zayn to the village for some more clothes. I also told him to get some more books for the library that I'll show her soon enough.

"So, you like to read,huh?"

"Uh yea I do."

"Why?"

"Well, I guess to escape reality and pretend to be someone else for a time. I enjoy it." She says. I find her intriguing, ever since she said she would take her aunts place here. I've thought about why she would do that, and I've come up with nothing. I'm taken out of my thoughts once she speaks again. "So do you have any family other then the guys?"

"I have four younger sisters, but I haven't seen them in years." I say while I clench my jaw. "Oh"

"Well, Victoria you may go, I have some business I need to take care of, Ok?" I oddly like the way her name sounds when I say it. "Ok, Louis. I'll just go back to my room then." The way she says my name makes me shiver, but I hide it from her. I need to figure out whats going on with me. "Ok, I'll come get you for lunch in a couple hours, ok?"

"Ok" With that I show her out of my office. "Don't get lost, love." Is the last thing I say to her and then shut the door. I head back over to my desk where I pull out a remote to move the bookshelf that reveal screens of every room of the castle. I watch as Victoria finds her way back to her room. When she came out of the bathroom this morning in just a towel I had to stop myself from barging in there to shield her from Liam and Ashton's gaze. She didn't notice but both boys cheeks were pink and they both stood up to hide their lower body from her. I knew what happened because it happened to me too. Fortunately all the boys know not to touch her like that and that she in a way belongs to me even if she doesn't know it yet. I'm captivated by her red hair and her sparkling blue eyes and I don't know if I like that yet or not. I hope she will like it here.
