The answer to this question depends on who you ask I guess.
It's really complicated because love isn't just one thing, it's interpreted a bunch of different ways and is made up of a bunch of different things.
But from my perspective...
You've got romantic love, which is pretty much you going "Oh hey romantic partner, I really like you and stuff." but like times 1,000 I guess.... Idk... I think that it's good to love your partner but I also think that being romantic isn't all there is to this kind of love.
And then you've got the more general love which is moreso "Aye dawg, I care about you a lot." but again, like times 1,000. For this one I guess it doesn't really matter who you tell it to, I mean as long as you love them, it's not romantic or anything.
And then you've got love as in referring to love. I guess you just kinda use this one when referring to love in 3rd person like "He has feelings of love for her" instead of "I love her".. I dunno, I'm tryin here.
I don't think that love is an emotion though, cus you can say "Oh hey, I'm sad" but you can't really say "I'm love" or "I sad you"
I also think that there's a fine line between love and lust. Like if you look at a guy and go "omg he's hot, let's go get a piece of dat booty" I don't think that love's involved really at all. To me, love can't be immoral or wicked at.
That's just kinda how i feel about love n stuffz, at least for now, my view on it might change but who knows.
(btw, Mega_Geek, I do remember getting into those arguments about what love means and looking back on it I should've probably just shut up cus half the time I wasn't even sure what I was talking about lawl)
