Zach LaVine and Tinashe Kachingwe were never destined to be ordinary.

Their mothers, CJ and Aimie were childhood best friends and planned to have kids around the same time. Even though Tinashe was due a couple weeks later than Zach―in a twist of fate―Zach and Tinashe were born one day apart in the same hospital in Renton, Washington.

The two were connected at the hip. Growing up together, they constantly played with each other and even had weekly sleepovers.

At the ripe age of 3, Tinashe could sing, dance, and even act. When they were 8, she would make Zach sit patiently and watch as she put on her own entertainment show, creating her own little songs and dances. Zach always sat through the entire thing and clapped obnoxiously loud at the end. Zach never minded Tinashe's long shows and "diva" fits, he supported her no matter what.

In return, Tinashe always sat on the rusty picnic table in the LaVine's backyard as Zach dribbled and shot all over the court. She would jokingly act as an NBA announcer and always cheered loudly every time he made a shot. He made her watch NBA clips and highlights, and she made him watch Britney Spears and Ciara performances.

The two were two peas in a pod, and were at each other's sides through the awkwardness of braces, first kisses, puberty, and middle school dances.

Now at the age of 16, Tinashe has blossomed into a beautiful young woman. Her mysterious chocolate eyes, auburn waves, sun-kissed skin, and deep left dimple stun people among meeting her. Her hour glass figure is accentuated by how well she moves, as she is the captain of Bothell High School's Varsity Dance Team as a junior. She is also the lead vocalist in Choir and one of the Drama Club's most talented.

At 16, Zach has grown into the height of 6'3. Though, he is not done growing. With his short dark hair, bright blue-green eyes, light caramel skin, and fit basketball body, he gets a lot of attention from the ladies. He is the starting shooting guard for Bothell High's Boys Basketball Varsity Team and is getting a lot of looks from major Division 1 basketball schools. He is considered to be the best basketball player in the state of Washington.

As Zach and Tinashe head into the second semester of their junior year, what troubles and successes face them?
