They reached the restaurant at around 5 in the afternoon, driving an hour on the way. They were famished, so they ordered whatever they found appetizing in the menu. While waiting, Maine couldn't help but admire the view on the overlooking dock.

"RJ, halika dito! Tignan mo, o!" She said giddily and pointed at the breathtaking view of the city from where they are.

"Borderline between city and the suburbs," he chuckled.

"Kita ko na Ateneo, o! Joke!"

"Lipat na lang tayo doon, gusto mo?" He pointed to the nearest empty table to the viewing dock.

"Sige," she smiled.

He asked one of the servers if they could transfer to their desired table. The server agreed and set up the new table. After 15 minutes, their orders all came at the same time. There were at least 5 different kinds of food that they ordered, from appetizers to the main course.

"Kainan na!" She said excitingly.

They started eating quietly, not talking to each other, as they were really hungry already.

"Galit-galitan, ah?" RJ joked.

"Sorry, gutom kasi ako," she laughed.

"No worries, kain ka lang dyan. Kung gusto mo order pa tayo," he offered.

"Hindi na 'no! Ang dami na kaya nito. Ubusin muna natin."

"Buti hindi ka maselan sa pagkain?" He started. "'Yung iba kasing babae sobrang arte sa pagkain o kaya ayaw kumain ng madami."

"Ang pagkain kasi, blessing 'yan. Tinuruan ako ng parents ko na maging kuntento sa anong nakahain sa mesa. Bawal nga magtira sa amin ng pagkain, eh."

He smiled and thought how perfect she was. A girl that had no issues on where and what they would eat. A girl that is contented with what she has.

Her phone rang from inside her bag and she answered on the third sound. It was her Tito Allan, saying that he and Sam will be on their way home after dinner.

"Okay tito, ingat po kayo. Opo. Yes po. Si RJ po. Pauwi na rin po kami after, kumakain lang po kami, tito. Oo naman po. Itetext ko po kayo. Okay, ingat po tito. Bye."

She put her phone back inside her bag and continued eating. She noticed that RJ stopped eating and was just looking at her.

"Yes?"

"Si tito mo 'yun?"

"Oo."

"Anong sabi?"

"Wow, chismoso!" She laughed.

"Hindi! Gusto ko lang malaman kasi baka galit o ano."

"Huh? Bakit naman 'yun magagalit?"

"Wala lang," he said shyly.

"Nagsabi lang na pauwi na sila maya-maya and kung nasa labas daw ba ako kasi walang sumasagot sa landline sa bahay."

"Ah," he let out a shy grin.

"Kain ka na ulit," she smiled.

After eating and paying for the bill, they decided to head back to the car and head home to avoid the rush hour - if they still can. It was already past 6 in the evening and they were still in Antipolo.

"Hassle 'yung traffic. Sorry ah, Maine," he looked at her.

"No problem! Fun naman, eh," she smiled.

"Thank you ulit ah, for coming with me. And trusting me."

"Oo naman. Thank you rin at ikaw pa nagbayad lahat," she chuckled.
