-8 years old-

Ella's POV

"Mommy? Why did daddy leave?" My vision became blurry.

She put her hand on my cheek. "Just a misunderstanding..." She frowned as she felt my tear drops fall on her hand slowly. "He'll be back." She paused. "I promise."

I grinned from ear to ear. "Really?" She nodded, smiling. "Really." She stated.

-13 years old-

"Why can't I date Jack?" I whine.

"You're way to young." She clenched her jaw and her grip on the steering wheel tightened.

"I have feelings! I know he's the one!" I stared at her. "He's perfect." I smile thinking of Jack.

She didn't respond she just focused driving leaving me angry. She dropped me off and drove off to work.

Emily's POV (Ella is still 13 years old)

I sigh as I opened the glass door.

"Are you okay?" Aaron asked drinking his coffee.

"Ella..." I groan.

"What now?" He rolled his eyes.

"She wants to date," I pause. "Jack." Aaron's eyes widened.

"I just don't think Jack is good enough for her..." I mutter.

"What?" He raised his eyebrows. "My son not good enough for your daughter? Did I not raise him well? Is he to immature? What?" He balled his fists.

I shook my head, "I-It's not like that..." I stutter. "It-" Aaron interrupted me. "Save it Emily. We both know you're lying." He walked of and opened the door. "Oh and I don't think so highly of your daughter either." He walks out leaving me speechless.

-16 years old-

Ella's POV

"You lied to me." I looked at my mom.

I finally realized that my dad wouldn't come back. I was so naive, I believed he was coming back. I guess I had hope he would come back. I officially give up on trying to find him. He's gone, out of my life, not causing me stress. I just have to live with the fact that he's gone. Felix, my dad, is gone. Not even the agency can find him. He's.. gone.

"I didn't lie. I didn't want to tell the truth. Because," She paused. "the truth hurts."

"I think I deserved the truth. Even if it will hurt me, I deserved to know." I looked out the window.

"I know. I'm sorry..." She looked at me. I rolled my eyes, resting my chin in my hand.

This is the ending for her past life. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. ~Senpai
