Chapter 3 That's So Not Fair, You Look So Adorable!

I woke up to the loud purring close to my ear, my eyes met total black fur. Pansy nuzzled her body on my face and I smiled. But Salem's warm comfy figure wasn't next to me. "Sammy-boo?" I called sleepily. I checked the clock. "8:30?!" I exclaimed. We're going to be late for school! I pulled my hair up in a messy bun, and quickly slipped into the school uniform.

Salem was downstairs totally chill. "Salem! We're gunna be late!" I grabbed his hand and rushed to the door "my alarm clock didn't ring, did you forget to wake me up? Was I that in deep sleep? I didn't feel you waking me up-" I mumbled.

"Violet!" He stood in his place and chuckled "mum called the school saying you aren't feeling well. I figured you needed a day off, you know, to rest" he said, brushing a stray streak of hair behind my ear.

"Did you tell her?" I ask. Although it's totally fine cause I consider her my mum too and she deserves to know.

"Yes. I'm sorry, I can't lie to my mum" he said in a soft voice.

"No, I didn't mean it that way. I wanted you to tell her" I said. "And I'm totally fine. I could've gone to school"

"Oh, do you want me to call them saying you changed your mind?" He said sarcastically.

"On second thought I could use a little rest" I smile sheepishly. Salem is such a sweetheart, I love it so much that he cares. I love him so much. I wish there is a word even stronger than love, cause my love for him is so much more than what can be put into words, and I just can't describe it.

He places his arm around my shoulder, bringing me into a side hug and kisses my forehead. I smile before following him up to our room.

I changed out of the school uniform, slipping into black skinny jeans and a purple Fall Out Boy top. I kept my hair in a messy bun.

"It's been a while since we went to Wizworld" Salem said.

"Well I have nothing to do"

"Let's go then!" He smiles.

"Okay!" I said excitedly.

I grabbed my purple wand and Salem grabbed his black one. We casted the spell together to make the portal appear, not that we're too lazy to go to the wizlounge at all -note the sarcasm-

"I've missed this place!" I perked. I gasped and ran towards my beautiful unicorn "Blue Wingz! How are you doing?" I hugged his neck and Salem started petting him. Blue Wingz was badly injured during our fight with Carla, but he seemed to recover quickly.

'I'm glad to see you again, Violet'

I smiled.

Salem mounted the unicorn and offered me a hand "let's go surprise Alex in the pack house" he said. I got up behind him, grabbing his waist tightly before we flew into the air.

"I just remembered; don't you have work today?" I asked.

"I- uhhh lost my job" he replied.

"What?! Why?"

"I don't know. They sent me an email saying they don't want me to work there anymore" he said. "I didn't like it there anyway. And don't worry, I have another one in mind"
